This sandwich press does not work as described. I tried to use it to make grilled cheese, 5 different sandwiches in a period of time and it does not toast the sandwich. I turned the setting as hot as it would get and left the grilled cheese on there for 10 minutes, and it still wouldn't toast the bread. I tried making the grilled cheese sandwiches with butter, grill oil, and mayonnaise, and it would not toast them any way that I would make them. Unfortunately I'm outside the return policy and I am unable to return it.
