Waist-wise it fits perfectly, I don't have to worry about my tool belt pulling my pants down. It's a nice color, doesn't stain much and is thick enough to keep you warm without overheating you. They fit perfectly around my boots without being too tight. 9/10 would recommend grabbing a pair for this fall season.

Having never work Dickies jeans I didn't know what to expect for size. I went off of my Levi 559 size. The waist was almost perfect, a little loose like it is a half size to big. I'm caught in the middle between 31 and 32. The length however was about 2 inches to long. Washing did not help so I hemmed them up. I like the heavier fabric compared to the paper thin Levis I have been getting. It's heavier but still soft. And the relaxed fit is nice but not baggy. Looks good in the waist and hips. I also don't like droopy crotches and Dickies pass this nicely. I will definitely be changing over to Dickies brand from now on. I'm 63, been wearing Levis since I was a yonker and have become increasingly disappointed with the quality. I also don't like pre stressed clothes or that dirty brown look. Looks like they were worn in the oil field and stains have set in. At times, that is all I can find in my size 32 x 34 at Levi outlet. I can no longer depend on 501's unwashed to fit consistently. Legs to tight, waste to big, fabric thickness varies. So sad to see Levi quality diminish over time. There was a time I could buy 10 pair of 501 unwashed and every pair fit like the next. Can't say that now. Dickies, keep building a good product and I will be faithful to the brand.

Pants fit perfectly everything was just as expected. The only thing I would beware of is that the hammer loop is a bit big, I use a dead blow mallet everyday and sometimes it sloops through the loop even tho it’s a 2 1/2 pounder so it’s pretty big. Other than that they are great pants and I rly like the 2 smaller pockets on the side.

The material and construction are fine. The color is fine. The cut is not that great. The rise is too short. This is the biggest drawback. I just don't find a lower rise pant is the best for doing physical work.The front pockets are a little snug and I find it's more effort to get keys, phone, etc out than Carhartts or most jeans but it's not that bad. The contents of the pockets is pretty secure so that's a benefit.They're not horrible and I already washed them so it's too late to return them. That's fine, I'll wear them for something lighter duty but I'm going back to Carhartt B151s. Even with Carhartt having their QC problems and sizing being inconsistent in the same product, same size between batches I'd rather take my chances because when they are sized correctly the cut is great for more demanding activity.

I love these work pants. They fit as expected. They are a good mid-weight - not too heavy or rigid, but still tough and good for year round wear. Pretty darn durable as well. I bought my first pair of these on Bolo a little over a year ago. I wear them quite frequently for work, and they have held up great. Dickies are usually a great value, but I have had issues in the past finding the right size with some Dickies styles -which is incidentally my biggest complaint about Dickies, overall. There seems to be no consistency from style to style (or even sometimes with differing colors of the same style) regarding sizing and fit for Dickies pants. The styles of Dickies that Walmart carries seem to run about a size and a half too small. I typically wear 34x30, and I couldn't button the Wal-Mart Dickies in that size with a pair of vice grips. However, the 36x30 in the same style are way too baggy for me. 1.0 out of 5 stars Get the "Dickies Mens Tough Max Duck Carpenter" Instead
These are terrible. I normally buy their "tough max" line and those pants will last a year or two of wear 7 days a weeks. I ordered these lower grade ones by accident. Before I took them out of the plastic I could tell the fabric was half the thickness and even my wife said those don't look good. They also fit poorly compared to the other line. To top it off I wore them for 2 hours to go met with a client and when I bent down to inspect part of their project the button popped off! In 8 years of wearing the though max line I have never had this happen.

Brilliant jeans
This is another killer jeans from Dickies - perfect fit, length and room down the leg. Made with duck cotton so you know it's tough wearing. Just be mindful that this is the lightweight version of the carpenter jeans - as far as I am aware, Dickies make two version of these jeans - a 12 ounce duck cotton version and this, made with 9 ounce duck - so a lot lighter - perfect for late spring/summer/early autumn whereas the 12 ounce is for winter - I have both version and can confirm the weigh difference - I actually prefer these Dickies over the Carhartt equivalent

What were Good lightweight work jeans are no longer
Originally I scored this 4/5 (review below) Sadly in the great race to the bottom Dickies have moved production from Mexico to Kenya. These are no longer good quality. Poorly manufactured with terrible stitching. I bought two pairs of the same size that are totally different sizes, belt loops are not straight, evenly placed or of equal size on both pairs. Won’t buy again ever. Sorry Dickies you need to start doing a lot better!(Original review from 2020 purchase)Good fit and a nice lightweight work jeans. I wear them everyday at work, on the floor, up ladders and generally giving them a good knock around and two pairs have lasted me two years. Prior to the I had a couple of pairs of the heavy duty duck cotton version that were far too warm to be comfortable except in winter and those two pairs only lasted as long as these.Front pockets are a little tight but other than that a pretty good buy and practical wear for light duty working.
