These were convenient to have. Cleaning up the fiber from the juicer output container was made quick and easy. They were able to be tied shut and put in the trash bin without drawing a bunch of flies. You could also use them to freeze the expressed fiber to use to make vegetable broth. I did that and the broth was pretty good.

I have seen several negative comments about these biodegradable bags. Apparently Breville responded to the complaints. The tear-away feature between bags is much easier to grasp. Holding the new bag with one hand and the next bag with the other hand while gently tearing across the dotted line makes it a simple task to separate each bag. I like that they fit neatly into the Breville Juicer bin. For the composters among us, these bags compost well. I

First off, I do not own a Breville juicer. I have a GE wide mouth juicer and these bags fit that pulp container just fine. I juice everyday and cleaning my juicer can be a bit taxing when I'm in a hurry. These bags are great for those of us that do not want to have to clean out the pulp collector every single time we juice. I do not use a bag every time because do still wash and sanitize the pulp collector every 2 days (I'm a light weight clean freak). Obviously there is no point in using a bag on wash days.Con/Word of caution:Tear the bags slowly. They are fragile and will rip if you are not gentle. I lost 1 bag that way... lesson learned.That being said. I love that the bags are biodegradable and I will continue to buy.

When you juice, anything that can make the cleanup easier is worth it! When I first bought by Breville juicer I wasnt aware these were made so i just had another piece to clean out and wash. I located this while searching for a juicing book and it works great. I put the bag in, juice and the bag holds all of my "trash". I simply take the bag out and toss it. With having to clean and wash 4 parts this now makes clean up a little easier!

Great bags, exactly what I needed! This fits my "Breville 800JEXL Juice Fountain Elite 1000-Watt Juice Extractor" perfectly. I juice every other day and, before I purchased the bags, I was emptying out the pulp into my kitchen garbage can. This would stink up the kitchen to high-heaven within one day, so I was taking out the trash before it was completely filled (which was extremely wasteful). Now, the pulp is in the biodegradable bag, I tie it up, toss it in the garbage can - no smell! This was the main reason I purchased the bags.

I haven't been using them long enough to know for absolutely certain that they do compost, but I can say they make clean up a whole bunch easier. I juice twice a day but use one bag a day. After breakfast the bin with the bag and morning's pulp go spend the day in the garage. In the evening I use it again and by that time the bag's full. I can lift the whole thing out of the bin and toss the whole thing on the compost pile.

Convenient but concerned about quality control
Perfect fit. Very convenient. Loses one star because so far, one of the bags came with a big split down the side, rendering it un-useable.
Terrible quality bags
Terrible quality bags. The bags come on a roll and the first one I tried to tear off, ripped up the centre of the bag, including the next one on the roll. Total waste, considering how expensive these are. They are very flimsy. When the pulp container on my juicer was full, I pulled the bag out to take out to the compost - in doing so, the seam at the bottom split open, spilling the contents all over my floor. Not impressed. I will never buy these bags again and I don't recommend them. You can buy better quality bags at Costco or elsewhere for far less. Don't waste your money.
