Nice finish. Great color. Pretty sturdy overall. I do like it. It uses the screw and cam connectors to assemble it and was very easy to put together.Now the negatives. I questioned the design of the shelves and dividers but it all worked out because I used a high-quality wood glue along each seam. This made it very sturdy. Also, of the ten packages with home furnishing products that I received that week, this one was the only one to arrive with damage. The package inspection showed no apparent damage to its surface, but once opened it became apparent that someone had mishandled the package somewhere during its lifetime resulting in numerous pieces having crushed corners on one end. The biggest reason i see fo this was the lack of packaging material at the ends of the boxes. Other undamaged items came with special corner protectors of hard plastic with much thicker styro foam end pieces which protected everything in the box extremely well. Also, the bottom panel was cracked from a forceful blunt blow but still usable since it was against the floor where this would be when put together. Lastly, the backing is just a thin crappy type of cardboard.So, for just a bit more money the 9 cube unit could have been one to rave about. The savings on the lack of packaging are so small it makes no sense to me why the items inside are mot better protected during shipping. I kept it cause it's impossible to return something like that without a giant hassle.

This is a great unit. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because it would not hold much weight on the shelves if you stand it on the end. I am not sure about putting another one on top of it either. It is very light and easy to move. Looks great.

If you're a picky person, this product may not be for you. This product isn't by any means high end but it serves its purpose very well. The product is reasonably priced. The product is well packed. One of the boxes arrived damaged but no damage to the product. The product is easy to assemble if the instructions are followed. It took me about 20 minutes to read the instructions and assemble one unit. The trick in assembling this product is to get all the dowels in all the way and make sure the upper and lower cams are tight before the back is installed. The back of this product may appear flimsy but does an excellent job of keeping the product from racking. The product looks good, each cube is 13.5" high x 13.5" wide x 13.5" deep. There product provides plenty of storage space. Since the product is made of laminated particle board, this product is for interior use only. If you want to make this product super sturdy, add a bit of carpenter's glue to each dowel when assembling.I would recommend this product to a friend.

I am recommending you don't purchase this cubby cabinet for anything that is going to have to hold some weight. This unit was installed on January 28th, and today, it collapsed on the floor. Fortunately, I have carpet, and the POS wasn't facing anything breakable, so no major damage, except to this POS itself. Here are the facts:My brother, who is a life-long cabinet maker by trade (ret.), assembled and hung this rig up on my bedroom wall. He used glue during construction as recommended by many other reviewers here, and for the bedroom installation, he used four bolts into two studs, and also utilized two L brackets to shore up the bottom, as well as two brackets at the top.The next day (Jan. 29th), I filled up this cabinet with LPs (it was about 85% full when i finished) that I've had laying around in boxes for years. Initially, I was very happy, the cabinet looked decent enough, and I started playing vinyl again almost daily, now that I didn't have to look for anything in a box.Alas, my joy was not to last. The cabinet collapsed on Feb. 9th in the early afternoon. So there are a lot of questions as to how this happened; maybe some of you will presume that my brother screwed up; you would be wrong. Examination of the broken strut pieces clearly shows that the cheap cardboard particle board (the filler they use in the center looks like grass and twigs; see accompanying image) is the culprit; it simply collapsed from the inside out.Now the question is: will Bolo refund my money? They say they are going to after they get the return, but when they see the pile of junk I'm about to send through the mail, will they follow through? They should, as under ordinary circumstances, I would be filing a pro se lawsuit against the manufacturer, as they do not provide any guidance as to what this POS can reasonably accommodate weight-wise. I was not negligent in either the construction or the installation, and I deserve far more than a replacement (which is what Bolo informed me they offered as recompense; why would I do that and just have it fall apart again?)I will update this review to let you know one way of another; but for now, you should forget about buying this disaster-waiting-to-happen. DO NOT BUY THIS CABINET IT IS DANGEROUS.UPDATE, Feb. 11: I haggled with the Bolo rep on the phone for a bit, and we agreed on a 50% refund; I could probably get more if I bothered to send the trash through UPS, but I've got more important things to do with my time. BTW, the young woman I chatted with had a similar experience with this product, so she was fortunately sympathetic; I originally asked for 70% refund, but her superior refused that.

I can honestly say, this shelf is not only a great addition to any room in my house, it also helps to provide efficient space for whatever needs I come to have.Plus, it is EASY to assemble!30 minutes plus all of the tools to put it together, and you'll be enjoying it in no time.

It took my son roughly a half hour to assemble. Quite sturdy and holds about 75% of my albums. I will be ordering another one. Even though it is a great product, I think it is a bit pricey for the size.

Purchased this unit to store my vinyl record albums and works great for that. Build is quite good, received it quite quickly and so far am very pleased with this purchase. Will see how the test time does on this as it isn’t solid wood
