It works well for me, but maybe not for everyone. My hair is course but fine. The perm makes it more manageable when I style it. Without the perm my hair would be totally unmanageable.

The media could not be loaded. I've used this product numerous times giving my grandma a perm, the product itself is satisfactory. Previously I've always purchased from Sally's, this is the first time through Bolo & I'm pretty disappointed. Thank god the box is wrapped in plastic or else it would have made a huge mess. The chemical smell is also very strong even through the plastic. Maybe stick to Sally's next time..EDIT: The replacement they sent was also broken open & had leaked more. Do not waste your time or money ordering this product off Bolo.

True to its name it is indeed the one and only perm I use for my hair as well as my mom. Always come out strong and perfect

Easy to use, they don't give you any paper hair wrappers with it but I guess I didn't need any

First time doing an at home perm. The instructions were very clear and easy to follow. The curls did not stick well though; only lasted a week. My hair is also FINE and very straight. I have difficulty holding curls in general. If your hair is already a bit wavey I think this a great product. If you have fine hair like me try a salon.

The box smelled like perm and it leaked out on the box. It was bad but I set it outside so the smell would go away. Thank you
