This tiny pill helped me get my first five straight hours of sleep in a long time. I had been taking two 3mg gummies but still waking up after 2 hours. The 10 mg hit the spot and I'm not ingesting sugary gelatin anymore. Great price also!

I want to start off by saying that I am not a big believer in essential oils or most "natural" medicines . I believe in rigorously tested medicines recommended by doctors that are scientifically proven to work through proper testing in labs. That being said, I do believe that these Melatonin capsules work relatively well.Melatonin is already a substance found in the brain which is produced when it's time to sleep, helping you to "wind down" and fall asleep. Taking melatonin pills just increases the levels of that substance already in your brain so its totally "natural" for those who want to keep things organic. It's non habit forming which is usually a risk with most other sleeping aids, and won't leave you groggy in the mornings. I have always had difficulties getting and staying asleep, but some nights are worse than others. If I still feel a little wired when I'm getting ready for bed, I will pop one of these and wait for it to kick in. These aren't going to work any miracles, but I personally do believe they make it easier to fall asleep and especially STAY asleep.The price of these is phenomenal, when I go to stores I see these on shelves for $15 or $20 per bottle, because the 10mg tends to be the most expensive. Here on Bolo though, it's the exact same brand and you get a 2 pack for even cheaper than a 1 pack in any physical store you'll go to. If you just have occasional trouble getting to sleep, I would recommend buying these. You don't need a prescription, and you don't have to fork over fistfuls of $$ just to get a bit of quality sleep.

I've been a big fan of Nature's Bounty Melatonin for some time. In the past I always used the 3mg version (the small white tablet). On days when I really need some restful sleep, or when I'm trying to beat jetlag during overseas trips (or Hawaii trips), I usually take 2 of the 3mg tablets, which usually work splendidly. With that in mind I was looking for a stronger dose so that all I need was to take one tablet. I found this here and decided to give the 10mg pills a try.Here's my verdict after trying it out for a few months:1. The 10mg version didn't exactly make me sleepy (or sleepier) any faster than taking the 3mg version (1 or 2 pills)2. I did find myself sleeping soundly, much like the 3mg tablet version3. The pill was easy to swallow, which was goodBut here's my only caveat, I noticed that when I take the 10 mg version I felt a lot groggier when I woke up in the am than when I took 2 (sometimes 3) of the 3mg tablet version. I know that obviously a higher dosage will yield different effects but the difference was still pretty striking. As a result, I only take this on days when I know I can probably linger in bed for some time after waking up, where as I take the old tablets when I need to hop out of bed fairly quickly. Otherwise, I find this item to be very effective and a great way for people to consider alternatives to die hard sleep meds like Ambien, which make me feel pretty lousy and strangely unrested the next day.
