The taste is very good and you get a lot of protein. Easy to digest and have been very easy on my digestive system.

I buy a variety of these, compared to other flavors offered by this brand, this is slightly over tolerable for everyday consumption. This flavor in particular has chunks of cracker and chocolate for an authentic taste, but that's the only thing redeeming it from it's pretty powdery taste in my opinion. If are a big fan of the smores flavor, I would recommend microwaving this for 10-15 seconds which almost removes the powdery taste I'm getting and makes it a much better experience to eat.

I have not tried all the flavors. I purchased Smores this time and the bar is tasty but it doesn't remind me of smores or toasted marshmallow. The overall bar is like a taffy style nougat texture in a way. Satisfyingly chewy and I don't hate it. The chocolate and Graham cracker chunks are mixed in to that. Love getting the random bit of chocolate. The Graham cracker parts are off-putting because they are dry and crumbly. Luckily they are smaller chunks and not a whole layer of sandy dryness. I won't get the smores version again because of that. If it had been more like golden graham's cereal would be much better texture and crunch.I plan to try peanut butter chocolate next.I use these because I don't get enough protein some days and I don't always want the hassle or cost of a shake. I do not eat them daily. This bar is pretty big and could be portioned if you just want a protein boosted treat. They are spendy but also denser than other protein bars I've tried... which are also pretty expensive for what you get. Protein powders and drinks are also expensive so you have to consider the dietary benefits and quality for the cost to determine what is worthwhile for your budget and dietary need.

To say that I’ve become addicted to this flavor of Quest protein bar would be putting it very mildly. I’m constantly searching for sources of protein that I enjoy eating.. I love to be able to buy these in a pack of 12 from Bolo since they’re only available in a pack of four from the big box stores. I panic every time I think I’m getting close to running out of them. I keep them in my car in my purse in my work bag and all over my house.
