I wear these in a machine shop and they have been pretty scuffed up over the past year. They have held up very well and are now starting to lose the comfort. Very happy that they lasted a year and a half with all the abuse. Will buy a new pair soon.

Awesome shoes, very comfortable and look fashionable. The best steel toe that I have ever owned, they don't even look like a steel toe shoes, which most of them are bulky, they are also light and wide enough to not hurt your toes but true to size.

Like others, I wanted a shoe I could wear on the shop floor without having to switch out but nice enough to wear in the officeI have been wearing these 2 months now. I have wide feed so I usually wear 10 1/2 normal or 10w so I ordered the 10 3E US.When I first got them they where snug on the top of my foot but the bottom fit perfectly. After breaking them in the top part is still snug but comfortable, the best of both worlds. When these wear out I will be buying them again (as long as they don't wear out early) So far they are holding up great, I wear them 5 days a week 12 hours a day with an average of 5k steps (according to my pedometer)

Photo advertising these makes them appear much more shiny than they actually are, I was hoping for exactly what came - more of a satin finish.These shoes are great for those of us in managerial positions who need to dress the part and prefer not wear steel toe sneakers or work boots. I have these in brown and black - love them! I normally wear a 13 wide and these are just a tiny bit long on me, but not so long that they are in any way wrong for me. Comfortable to wear all day long.

I am very surprised, as Florsheim Shoes was a great brand over the years being either made in the US, or even India.This shoe is really comfortable and one won't feel it is a safety shoe; walking on a cloud with a safety shoe; great design, but low quality!! The leather colour completely gone after only 2 days of use with normal walking!!! The top area colour seemed peeling. The area where the creases occur due to walking and the steel toe on, look like cracks and discoloration starting to occur. I tried to see the same colour shoe liquid to no avail.My problem now is this shoe was sent to Canada and I am unable to return to Bolo.com since shipping cost will be huge and then fees and brokerage in Canada is very high. it was a loss, money wise, yet also faith in a loved brand. Can Bolo, the seller or Florsheim shoes provide a solution or an advice? Hopefully to restore trust in a brand that really WAS!

I work as a chef. I typically swapped between Wolverine gum-soled steel toes and a pair of Florsheim Riva dress shoes, depending on the task. I was already very well familiar with Florsheim, having worn them for at least 20 years. I know their quality, sizing, and non-slip soles.These shoes are absolutely non-slip. Heat, abrasion and chemical resistant. Electrostatic dissipating. They are simply the most comfortable and convenient steel toed safety shoes that I have tried. And they take a very nice shine and pass as a dress shoe. The first time that you put them on might seem like a tight fit through the snug elastic. Because they need to stay on your feet. They are also easy enough to kick off should you need to in a hurry.

I was very impressed with the return policy and ordered the same shoe only with the laces. I found this Florsheim safety shoe to be the best looking dress shoe available and would highly recommend them even though I returned the pair purely because of my personal taste. I look forward to the replacement lace up version.
The back of the shoe is very irritating to the heel
The back of the shoe is very irritating to the heel. The same model bought 5 years ago was cushioned to avoid irritating the heel while walking. However, the width and the length of the shoe are perfect, the seams are well sewn and the sole seems resistant. I softened the back of the shoe by pleating it several times and I think I can prevent it from irritating the heel in this way.
