I play slowpitch infield and had a teammate take a shot to the package that put him out the rest of the game, so I decided to get myself a cup.I'd never worn a cup before, but followed the size guide and I'm very happy with the fit. I barely notice when I'm wearing it, and bought a second standalone Shock Doctor jock strap so that I don't need to do laundry for this one every single time I play.I haven't taken a shot with it myself, but it feels very stable and sturdy, and I recommended this product to my teammates.

Got these for my son for lacrosse. He tried a different set up and the cup did not stay in place while running. This set up works a lot better for him without the cup riding up.

This is my go to cup setup for hockey it is heavier duty than the basic model and seems to stand up well. Shock Doctor has lowered the quality of the waist band from older models but it seems to stand up pretty good much better protection than the hockey jock shorts.

Competitive softball player. Don’t want to get beaned where it counts. Used an old protection that I thought was good enough. Thought I’d finally get a new one. The shape and comfort of this is second to none. It looks longer and larger but the ergonomic shape is insanely comfortable. The shock absorption/protection design is amazing. Kinda eerie how much it actually works. For what it’s worth, the actual jockey strap fabric beats other companies by a long shot.

I've been playing baseball/ slow pitch softball for 20+ years and never took a shot to the nuts... Well I bought this two weeks ago to replace my old one and I think this cup saved me a trip to the ER... I took a spicy ground ball straight to the groin (direct impact) took a weird hop and didn't touch my glove. While the cup is a little snug, it absorbed what I would define as a castrating blow and instead made it a breath taking, gut wrenching nausea inducing 30 minute pain fest that allowed me to play an entire game with a large amount of discomfort. I had pain down there for another day or so but only a 2-5/10 at random times. Truthfully, I believe if I wasn't wearing that cup I don't think I would have kids ever. So all in all this cup saved me a trip to the ER, gave me a potential future with kids, and prevented an embarrassing ambulance ride. 5/5 gold stars would strongly recommend to any person looking to protect their friends below.

I'm usually quite cynical about these things but I have to admit, the fit, quality, look and feel of this is outstanding! Easily the most comfortable design I've used. The breathability and ease of washing is excellent. Comfortable to wear without the cuonwhcih means you can quickly slip the cuonon I'd you're sparring. I'm very very pleased with this item!
Good product but misleading
The quality and product in general is very good.However the cup is not made of carbon fibre, it is just a plastic with a pattern on it! the photos of the product and description are very misleading.
Excellent fit, stability and protection for Cricket
I been looking for a better fitting box for cricket and saw this. It is brilliant. Can actually take an impact and does not float around like ordinary cricket boxes. Running is also a breeze give the narrow low down profile - but don't let this put you off - there is plenty of space. Strapping is sized on the smaller end of the scale and would go a size larger than you normally would go for.
