The torches are 32 oz capacity and are designed to provide great ambiance and light over a 2000 Sq ft deck.I mention all of this because a poor quality torch fuel would quickly make for a smoke-filled experience. So, I decided to try this fuel - having already had some less-than-stellar experiences with the brand name, big box store types.I'm impressed. We set the wick on these torches to their minimum specified height of 1/2 inch. This provided a nice 6 in flame, great light, and barely-discerable whisps of smoke (really had to look for it). The citronella scent was not overwhelming - perfect.I'll be ordering the 5 gal size now - we'll need 2-1/2 gal just to fill these beasts!

This does have a smaller flame so it's not as messy and hot but it doesn't keep mosquitoes away nearly as much as the bigger, "messier" flames so I just have to move it 2 inches away from me to make it work. That makes being outside at night very hot and miserabe....sweaty miserable, and I'm still bitten....but I will explain why later. It DOES LAST LONGER but still only for an hour maybe. I don't know HOW people get hours use from it, unless they're using a wine bottle. I have one of the $13 - $15 round table top burners. It holds about a baby food jar amount of oil. Mine is silver but they come in black and the brown/bronze one has little stones around it to look like a mini fire pit.The flooding in Louisiana has created breeding grounds for mosquitoes though so I can't say this doesn't work. I'll have to judge next year when it doesn't rain almost daily, literally, for 3 months straight. ;(I still can't give it 5 stars bc it doesn't last long enough and I can't give it less bc idk how well it truly works when odds against it aren't fair. It might not last as long in MY holder bc of the design. Instead of having a single wick, the entire holder (that's, again, shaped a little smaller than a baby food jar) is lined with the wick-like material. That would definitely make it burn fast!!! It's like 1/3" puffy material that goes all the way down and around, encompassing the inside of the jar holding the oil. That's the part that stays lit, the top of it anyway. I imagine if you were to use this on a regular Tiki-Torch, you'd need the wick to be extra long!!! I'll try it on one and update you.

I’ve been having a lot of problems with mosquitoes because I live right next to the woods. I filled up some tiki table torches and filled it with this and I have not gotten a single mosquito bite. I set them up in a perimeter around my deck and they work really really well. No bites at all. Very happy with my purchase.

I used to have 10-20 flies in my house at any given time (I'm in college..so I don't have the best house and I'm assuming my windows are poorly sealed). So I put this outside my windows in TIKI brand molded glass table torches and I rarely see any bugs in my house anymore. I don't even have to light the wind! Thank you Jesus! It was so bad I could hear boyfriend try to kill them with his hands while going the restroom lol.

The media could not be loaded. Fairly expensive product compared to regular tiki fuel. Purchased only because of citronella smell. Issue is the flame is not as good as with regular fuel. I have fairly expensive permanent refillable torches and can’t get a good flame regardless of the length of the wick. It even has blown out a few times in a mild breeze.I have to remind myself to buy a product for a single use. This product is trying to make fire and drive away bugs. Neither is happening well.now just burning the Tikis to burn through the 2 32 oz bottles I bought so I can replace with regular fuel.Good idea but.

Couldn't be happier. Bought this after reading the companies statement and others reviews. It does burn cleaner as stated (especially if you follow the directions). Kept mosquitoes away. I used 3 torches in a triangle formation about 8 ft apart around our deck.Thank you firefly inc!

Video: Firefly fuel in the left; dollar general 5$ special on the right4 stars only because the flame is super small if the tank isn't over 1/2(but really the product is great I will buy more just want people to be aware, lot of hate in the 1*). I bought this and a torch together. The torch easily holds more than half of the 32oz fuel I purchased. Dumped in small amount about 1/4 the max. Got pissed at the small flame and then filled it up so I could get rid of it and tada I got a big flame. Easy 90% reduction in soot. Try a smaller torch if you have one and give this small business a shot. Excellent packaging. No leaks and a free spout. Does burn noticably slower. Fell asleep with it on last night and came out the next day with it still going. That prompted me to give this a review. 5/5 product after I figured it out
