Sam-e Is used for a lot of different things, including reducing arthritis pain & lessening its severity but I have used it very successfully to help reduce liver enzyme values both in myself and in several dogs. Tablet SAM-e Can be difficult to digest but it’s also destroyed by light & air, So Buying a bottle allows the product to quickly degrade as soon as it’s opened and it’s efficacy suffers greatly. CellFood SAM-e Resolves That issue Because it is a liquid bottled in an opaque container! It stays fresh and put me to the bottom of the bottle! I use it a lot and dogs and the fact that it is drops and so easy to change the dose from one to another makes it a winner.I have actually called Lumina to Aston to consider marketing it to Pet owners Because Natalie doesn’t work incredibly well, it works far better and far more flexibly Than the common SAM-e veterinary product available. Yes I used this Upon the advice of my veterinarian!

I've used this product for several months now and have found it to be effective in eliminating some of the symptoms (irritability, sadness, and low energy) of my moderate depression. Prior to using SAM-e I tried numerous prescription anti-depressive medications and after a month or two the side effects forced me to stop using each and every medication. Thus far, I have experienced no side effects with the SAM-e. However, on two separate occasions I ran out of SAM-e and found that after a day or day and a half of not taking SAM-e the depressive symptoms returned full force. So I have decided to buy two or three bottles at a time rather than endure the return of the depression. When placing my first order for multiple bottles, I was surprised to find that no "discount" was given. I would highly recommend Lumina Health reconsider its pricing for multiple purchases of its product. I also think the packaging could be improved. When first using a new bottle, it is difficult to get just one drop at a time from the bottle. It's best if you just tip the bottle on its side so as to avoid getting too much product. Once the bottle is about half full, you have to squeeze hard to get the drops. I now store the bottle on its top (a bit tricky given the shape of the lid), but it allows for easier use.

I tried sam e before and had great results so I got this for my husband to try, it didn't do anything for him. After closer inspection I realized it has 72 mg for 20 drops, and you are supposed to take 20 a day. The tablets I took before are 400 mgs. For depression you're supposed to take a dose of 400-800 mgs. What a waste of money and of course the return window is closed

I have suffered from mild to moderate depression most of my life. I have tried many homeopathic things to help with my depression including diet, exercise, mindfulness, aromatherapy just to name a few. Although all of these things are helpful, they just didn't do enough to relieve my depression . I still had days of not wanting to get out of bed, not wanting to talk with or see friends and nights of going to bed as soon as I could and crying myself to sleep. Not a great way to live. I have tried many different prescription medications, always as a last resort, and never stayed on them because of horrendous side effects. I starting feeling like it was hopeless. I have taken Sam-e in pill form off and on and did get some relief but when I tried to up my dosage to over 200mg I got terrible stomach pain and had to stop. After the depression came back in full force and becoming desperate to just be able to function I decided I would order the pills in 400mg and just suffer through the stomach pain. I saw the liquid form of Sam-e, read the reviews and decided to give it a try. I have been taking it in the morning on an empty stomach for about a week now and I am so impressed with the results that I had to write this review in hopes that it may help others who are suffering from this awful disease. This has been very helpful for me, works quickly, within 2 to 3 days and no stomach pain. I am not totally depression free but I would say on a scale of 1 to 10 with 10 being unbearable sadness I have gone from a 9 to a 4 or 5. I would probably have given it 5 stars but it has only been a week and the one drawback is the packaging. The bottle is hard and it can be a little difficult to get the drops out. I just squeeze onto a spoon for a count of 7 seconds. I will probably increase to 10 at some point.

I thought this all sounded like just what I was looking for. For focus and gentle mood lifts. But, nope! I only did ONE drop daily. Seriously, ONE. I've learned to ease into any new supplement. After 5 days of ONE drop in the morning, I experienced sleep paralysis. If you've never had such an experience, yay! If you have experienced sleep paralysis, you know how freaky scary and unsettling such an experience is!! After reading about sleep paralysis and noting the correlation with serotonin levels... I thought about this supplement. It's the only new thing for me. And so I scrapped it! If it's altering serotonin... for me... it's apparently not going in the right direction. Of course, that's just me. I realize others may need the support, but my body quickly alerted me that I do not. And, best of all, no more sleep paralysis since stopping my little one drop in the mornings. Best wishes to all searching for better health! God bless!
