For context, I have coarse, wavy hair. Prior to using this I struggled to find products that would help to define my curls without looking to wet/hard, or that prevented frizz. I use a tiny bit of mousse before applying this Moroccan Oil Curl Defining Cream and its perfect. I see best results by spreading some in my hands and then scrunching my hair in sections. I personally let my hair air dry - and then it is a perfect balance of no frizz but not too shiny/wet looking. Added bonus - the smell is AMAZING. I don't wear perfume and get so many compliments that I smell good because of this stuff, even after long hot and sweaty hikes. No joke! Highly recommend

This is an amazing product. My curls look amazing and I do not need any other products besides this one. I've looked everywhere for any product which keeps my hair from getting frizzy and enhances my curls. I love this product and even tho the price went up by $6 and that is concerning, I'm still going to order it and pray that these tariffs don't eliminate this product all together.I do use this in conjunction with my defuser, but I feel like I might be able to get away with not using it in situations where time is an issue. It feels like is conditions and helps my hair feel moisturized, but also provides hold. It keeps the volume down by keeping the frizz down. I do not have to put heat to my hair when using this product so I do not know if it provides heat protection. It is better for curly girls not to use heat..I will be subscribing to this product.

This is a great curl cream. I put it on my hair wet and it helps my waves keep their definition as my hair dries. Only critique is to be careful not to use too much or it can weigh down the waves. I believe the bottle says to be generous, but I have hair on the thinner side so I found this to be an issue.

I love the smell of this product, it makes my hair smell so good. SO far this product is good. My hair was shiny, I didn't see any bad results such as any hair loss or heaviness. It kept my hair moisturized and looking good.

I've tried 'em all on my permed hair and this is the best for me. Creates really nice curls that move naturally and stay all day. Experiment with different effects by adding it to different dampness.

I am not sure how to rate this product…IF it smelled good, I’d use it near daily, but sadly it just scents absolutely horrible to me!!!I mean it really & truly does indeed smell just like what the other reviewer said!!!- “an overwhelming florally perfumed tampon type smell” and I was praying she was wrong about it! Well, she SOOO was NOT wrong! She was absolutely spot in! And accurate!It’s completely & totally off putting to say the least…and it’s on your hair so the scent is stuck in your face all day!!Usually too, I just luv all scents!!! Plus, even tho scent is so subjective, I normally like stronger scents. I even normally luv all the diff scents that are in hair products and stuff like that! I’m not even very picky either. I like clean scents, floral scents, sweet ones, male scents, fruit scents, strong and subtle scents, combined scents, etc etc etc! so just all kinds really, etc, etc, etc.. but tho, as for THIS scent!!- NOPE. Just No. Just yuck.To me, It really seriously does indeed smell like a very, very, old, old, lady smell in that cartoon type joke scent of bedpans and old lady strong perfume that is like the old, old, lady kind of overpowering & overblown floral perfume scent… U know the scent from way back when that I mean.. Like super strong floral funk w a hint of camphor or eucalyptus and lotsa Extra power floral horror!! -like yeah that type of smell. It’s just really really bad to me. (Oddly tho, my young daughter says it’s not near as bad to her! And she’s 21, & I’m 44. So that’s just odd to me..Now ok, that info Is only regarding the scent part of the product.On to the product and if it works…Well, it does work! & it works really well too!Sadly, this product really & truly works better than anything else that I have EVER used for curls…So now I’m stuck w this product, cuz I can’t use it w it smelling so strong in my face all day…& I can’t not use it if I need curls.. maybe if I mix it w a diff product, it might kill the scent?? I mean Maybe If I didn’t smell it every single time I turned my head & when I also Don’t turn my head, maybe it wouldn’t be so bad & maybe then it would be great!!! I mean heck, if they just changed the scent, I would so be a customer for Life and I’d definitely buy it all over again,& agn & agn & agn!But, I just won’t use this like it is. Not like it is now. I just can’t. I really intensely dislike the overwhelming floral & sulphuric scent combined in it.So, while it does work on making your curls last & look great.It also does unfortunately, indeed feel a bit crunchy feeling (but that oddly also is only up til it dries fully tho, but then it really just felt soft & normal feeling afterwards, which was surprising and Great to me and I was super happy cuz then I had ringlet curls like I rarely have unless I use a diffuser!! And I just straight air dryer my hair, & I looked super curly & great! Heck even on day 2 my curls are pretty great stilllll!!!!So yeah, this is just my blunt and straight up honest review on a conflicting & absolutely great working product that sadly just smells AWFUL…to me anyways…Also, THANKFULLY, I don’t get this same weirdly off putting scent from the same exact brand of (4 curly) shampoo and conditioner, that I bought w this cream, so that’s very odd…-But also good too, since I’m at least able to continue using those 2 bottles at least.. just not the cream..So, all in all, I WOULD give this product 5 stars (without the stink), but with it —nope! Cuz I’ll prob not ever use this product again, so I want to give it one star truthfully. Since I don't think that’s super fair (w scent being so opinion based), Instead, I just split the diff and gave it 3… cuz it truly does work.P.S. & just sayin’ also, that the scent I mention b4, is not an expired product type of smell either!, cuz I thought that at 1st, that maybe it might be? But nope.. just no.OK, That’s it. The most honest & complete & unbiased review that I can give. Sorry it’s so long! & Last, Best luck & well wishes to all of us curl girls.

Tengo el pelo fino y bastante rizado, a medida que crece me cuesta que el rizo se mantenga, sobre todo en la raíz. Al secarlo, genial, pero a medida que pasa el día, pluf. Acabas usando productos que lo secan, como las típicas espumas. Después de mucho tiempo buscando un producto que respetara el cabello algo más, he pasado por revlon 8 que está muy bien.. pero por fin encuentro este producto que me permite mantener intactos mis rizos ente lavado y lavado. Además lo siento muy flexible e hidratado. Magia. Qué puedo decir. Lo compraré una y otra vez hasta el final de los tiempos.

Ich habe das Produkt für meinen Mann gekauft, weil er beim Friseur davon so geschwärmt hat. „Das macht die Haare locker UND gestylt “Und das Beste: nichts klebt, nichts glänzt, kein Abend-Haarwasch-Zwang. Er war richtig glücklich. Ich dachte kurz, er meint mich.Aber dann kam ich mit meiner „Lass-uns-Geld-sparen“-Mission:„Komm, wir testen andere Produkte – vielleicht gibt’s ja was Günstigeres mit dem gleichen Effekt!“Spoiler: Nein, gibt’s nicht.Er hat jedes neue Produkt genommen, benutzt, verzweifelt zurückgestellt und dann geguckt, als hätte ich ihm sein Lieblingsessen durch Haferbrei ersetzt.Am Ende haben wir so viele Fläschchen getestet (und enttäuscht entsorgt), dass wir mehr Geld ausgegeben haben als für 1 Liter MOROCCANOIL.
