I use it daily (1.5 months use) to keep my fairly thick and currently growing beard (it's due for a trim - but I'm at a decision point of letting it go or trimming it at the moment) and handlebar mustache under control and properly styled. This stuff is just the right weight for me. With the line of products available at various different hold levels, I'm certain HA has a wax that will work for just about any type of beard.I've tried all of their different levels of hold due to HA's phenomenal customer service. I had originally ordered just the slick and the extra grit to try them out for the first time. After about 10 days, my order hadn't arrived so I reached out to them via e-mail. I was in no way upset and the e-mail was just a cordial inquiry. HA was incredibly apologetic in their response and promised to have my order plus a few "special gifts" out immediately. 2 days later, I receive a package full of the entire HA beard care line. All the waxes plus one of their bar soaps and their conditioner. I was blown away by the gesture so I felt obligated to leave a review. These guys truly "get" the dying notion of customer service. They went above and beyond expectations. And thus, combined with their quality product, they've earned another loyal customer.As stated, this is the wax that works best for my beard but all are good, feel clean, and the scent is tolerable for someone who isn't terribly fond of licorice scent (me). The scent does not bother me in the least. And the bar soap is incredible. I only use the soap every third day or so (use Bluebeards cleanser plus conditioner on the other days) because I feel like I need to keep some of the oils in the beard for some semblance of control. The bar soap gets the beard so clean and soft that it can become unmanageable for the rest of the day, regardless of how much wax is in use. It's great, but I'd recommend 2X per week for use of the soap. I use the wax daily.Of the different brands of waxes I've tried, this one is by far the best in terms of hold and keeping the beard/stache soft and fresh throughout the day. Coupled with the spectacular customer service from Honest Amish when my order was delayed, I am destined to be a repeat customer. Highly recommended.

I've had a beard for years and have used various products. The more knowledge I've gained the more I was led to this product. Slick beard wax is an amazing moisturizing and sealing wax. It's has the most unique texture I've ever experienced. It's very light, oily, and just melts in the hand and into the beard. Such a unique wax that just melts into the beard.I recommend using the wax over a leave in conditioner to full effects. My routine is I use a water based leave in conditioner on wet beard and comb thru. When my beard dries, it is really soft ,curly, and fluffy. This is when Slick Beard Wax works its magic. I apply slick Beard Wax to outside of my beard and use a detanging boars hair brush and my beard transforms to sleek and groomed beard. Then wax is so light the hold is very natural and this balm conditions like no other balm or wax I've used. This product gives my beard a sleek natural look. Let's all of my curlies lay down very naturally. My beard stays soft.One of my favorite thing about this wax is my beard stays soft until the next day. I can just wake up and brush/comb and my beard remains looking smooth and super soft. This wax is best coupled with a leave in conditioner or beard oil.Oh yeah and the scent. Crisp , clean, and old fashioned. Very mazing and nostalgic scent of clove and cinnamen.I recommend anyone looking for a balm/wax with superior conditioning abilities and a more natural looking beard.

I thought this would work as a wax and slick for my handlebar mustache, but nope. So if you need. Wax with a hold. Use the original wax from their product line.

This is not a heavy balm for sculpting or strong hold. This is light and adds a small amount of hold but adds a soft texture and a mild amount of hold. My chest length beard has been growing much faster and has been much easier to brush out since I started using this a couple months ago. This and honest Amish beard oil are all I use anymore (aside from shampoo).

I made the decision to buy Honest Amish as I have heard good things about them. I have several friends who use their products and have nothing bad to say about them. I chose to purchase the Slick Beard Wax instead of the original beard wax because I've had very thick beard waxes before and I've never liked having the feeling that someone melted some candle wax on my face.While the description of the product says light hold several times, I never really thought it would be as light as it is. I was expecting the wax to make my beard somewhat less bushy on my face and help some of the lighter rogue hairs lay down on my face. This was not the case. While it does make my beard somewhat compact and neat, it does almost nothing to help the rogue hairs from sticking straight up at attention. So, in that respect, the description is right on.As far as shine, this wax is magnificent. It gives it a noticeable shine that will wear off somewhat within an hour but leaves behind a healthy glow.The only thing I don't really like about this wax is the smell. Someone people love it but I think it has a medicinal smell to it, almost like Vick's Vapo Rub. Not my cup of tea. Fortunately, the smell wears off after about an hour.Overall, I would recommend this wax to someone who has a small, already soft beard. If someone is looking for something to tame their large or rough beard, look to the original wax which will provide you with more control. That's what I'll be doing.

El producto tiene buen olor y trae una cantidad considerable de producto. Sin embargo no es realmente lo que esperaba ya que tengo que aplicar demasiado producto para peinar mi barba. Tal vez sea mi tipo de barba y eso que utilizo shampoo especial y aceites.
