Wheelchair is everything i expected and more. I love the way the handles go up so it's easier to transfer from chair to car, or couch, bed etc etc.I also like how easy it is to fold up and put into the trunk of my sedan. The one thing that I'd like to bring to the attention to future buyers is that the breaks are really hard to set the first few times around, it gets easier as time goes by, however it brings a sense of security, knowing that the wheel chair is not going anywhere. This wheel chair is sturdy and worth every penny. The blue color is a nice touch too. All you will need from there is a nice comfy cushion. My wife has a debilitating disease and finds it difficult to walk. I was a little leery about buying this wheelchair because, I assumed, the price might imply low quality. I couldn’t have been more wrong. The chair was easy to assemble and the color and look is great. After a month of use, it heeded a little spritz with lubricant, but that was all that was needed. It rolls like a dream and is very comfortable my wife tells me. The movable footrests is a great feature, which makes getting in and out of the chair easier.

Arm rests are removable which makes it easier for me to push. Pretty comfy and enough support for my back. I like that its sturdy and folds nicely while being able to store it. Good quality for the price and nice color.

Ordered and received the very next day. Came in pristine condition. After opening 1 side of the box, it easily came out wrapped in plastic. All I had to do was take off protective wrap in a few areas and easily attach the foot pieces; no need to even use the included wrench. Rolls very easily and handles well going forward, backward and rotating. It has a nice sturdy feel to it; not cheap made. I'm very impressed, hopefully, it will perform well at least a few years. My husband is very bad with walking, using walker and 2 canes; not sure what the future will bring, so purchased this with anticipation of future need. Ordered a memory foam pad which will come another day.

I broke my leg last week, and the wheelchair belonging to our family was designed for my super short mom and was large and cumbersome. I landed on this Drive model, and it works so very well!The size is perfect, allowing for easy movement through my 36” doorways. It would be easy enough even with 32” doors, I think, but I’m not great at steering just yet. The 16” seat on this one works well for me, size 10-12 in clothing and a bit larger in the hip and thigh. Sometimes the wheel rubs against the plastic side panel due to my girth, but a readjustment solves the problem. I wish the plastic panel was a little more firm, but it works for me…a person with larger hips and thighs might want to consider the 18” or 20” model.It has a very solid build and rolls smoothly. I got a small hanging bag to hold my phone and other needs, but it interferes with the wheel and handholds…I have a clip-on stroller/wheelchair cup and phone holder on the way today, which I think will be a much better option. I can’t yet speak to longevity, but we have a smaller Drive model chair (on four small wheels) that has endured a lot of family use, including a trip to Disney World with my daughter and her broken toe, that is still going strong and getting passed around the fam. I feel very good about the brand, and I think this chair will be another one that gets lots of use in the future.Upon delivery, the chair is fully assembled, other than the leg rests which are easy to install with no tools necessary. The chair arrived without the elevated leg rests, unfortunately, so I immediately went to the link on the product page to ask about getting them sent. I was assured they would ship in 2-4 days, but two days later, they were on the porch via FedEx. EXCELLENT customer service, there. The calf rest is not adjustable, but it’s perfectly comfortable for me, 5’4” tall with average length legs. The length is adjustable, but even on the most extended setting, it’s not quite long enough for me to keep the footrest in place…I have to fold back the foot rest to use it in elevated position, as I am not supposed to have any pressure on the leg for quite a few weeks to come. The foot rests will be perfect when I can finally bend my knee and lower the legs, so this shortcoming doesn’t really matter to me. (Pics show only one leg rest attached, but there are two.)This is an all-around solid choice, and it’s just so affordable that any detractions are just not important enough to worry about. I am thrilled with this chair, and grateful to have something to allow me some mobility.

My 83-year-old father’s mobility declined significantly due to advanced dementia, making walking unsafe and difficult. We purchased the Drive Medical Blue Streak Wheelchair to help him move around the house comfortably, and it quickly became indispensable. With its 16-inch seat, this wheelchair fits his slender frame perfectly, allowing him to sit comfortably without feeling swallowed up by an overly wide seat. Maneuvering is surprisingly easy, even through the narrow doorways of our older home, something we struggled with in previous chairs.The thoughtful design features, such as flip-back desk arms and swing-away footrests, have made our daily routines much smoother. The desk arms are especially helpful during meal times because Dad can roll right up to the table, maintaining some normalcy in his daily activities. well designed and sturdy
I've used 3 different wheel chairs during my 6 month stay in hospital and a loaner after discharge for couple months. This wheel chair exceeds all expectations. I love the easy side guards that swing back easily with a gentle movement of release lever. The wheel tires are very hard and roll easily. I weigh 300 pounds and there is no flexing of wheel chair over uneven terrain. the only thing missing is a cup holder and cell phone holder but that was an easy fix. There is a very useful pocket on the back of seat for carrying small goodies. And the best thing of all. It was a very reasonable price. Far less than the disabled equipment stores want that start at $1200 and climb up from there. Also folds up very easily for putting into trunk or back seat of your automobile.it weighs about 40 pounds which is a little heavy but manageable. I love the color options and I picked blue . Has an upbeat look to it . it is very well designed ergonomically. I needed a little wider because the common 18 inch feels a little too tight so I ordered the 20 inch and it's perfect. Has enough room to slide a drink bottle beside your hip if needed.UPDATE: I've used this wheel chair for several months now. this is a great wheel chair. it has several features I really like , arm rests that can be moved up and away so easily, light weight, strong (I'm 335 pounds) so easy to fold up and stuff into the car trunk and transport. foot rest positioning is great and so easy to install and remove. There is only one down side which I resolved. ..The wheels were too close to side of chair so I got longer bolts and shimmed each side out one inch. I have big hands and I found they were getting pinched. I do not recommend to do this as it could jeopardize the safety features of this chair possibly. , but in my case it was a must do to make it useable for me.
