This was really awesome. The old burner on our GE stove were, by the previous owners of the house, pretty badly torn up. It had been bothering me for about a year---let's replace these burners and drip pans. I was wondering if perhaps I was being a little crazy, and how much difference it would really make. Was it worth $50 (that's about how much replacing all 4 elements would be)?Well I was shocked at what a difference it was. In terms of materials and performance, these are pretty much exact duplicates of our "Cal-Rod" elements from GE, the surface is nice and smooth, and I'm certainly getting full heating performance. And it's a huge, huge, visual improvement, very unexpected how much difference it made. It almost feels like a brand new stove.The attached picture shows my four new elements, include the two 8" elements (this item), and the matching 6" elements from this same company. Highly recommended. If you think you might need a replacement, you do. Do it.

Really not much to say, it fits, it works, it cost waaaay less than buying OEM replacement for same heat...I'm happy with it, will be ordering the other 3 'Exact Replacements' burner elements for my GE stove as the originals start to fail.

yes they fit my GE cooktop and yes they heat up BUT they are not solid red when burners on high there are cold spots...thinking about putting my old burners back in....

This is a replacement for mine which burned up, how this happened I have no idea. It has more coils than my original, seems to heat my pans better. Fit my stove perfectly. Easy to install. <y only concern at the time was it look like the one coil was a little higher than the others but that wasn't noticeable when I used it. I like it.

Work great on our Kenmore Range Top. Even heat distribution and a good flat surface for pots and pans. A very good option instead of the original OEM 3 ring elements. You may find it necessary to bend/align the contact wires to allow them to lay flat as the contact wires ae the 4th "pivot point" of the burner. I just bent the wires downwards a few degrees to obtain the perfect fitment.

Fits perfectly, doesn't work. I'm not sure what is wrong. I replaced the wire too. The one original GE element works great in the same position, the replacement only gets slightly warm. I bought three of these and none of them work properly. Don't waste your money. Too late to return them.
