We prepare home cooked meals for ourselves and always look for nutritious food for meal prep for our three large breed dogs. This is a great addition to both their diet and ours and if you cook meals for your dogs instead of buying high processed dog food or people food, consider non-gmo, glyphosate residue free organic chickpeas for part of your families diet. Lookup recipes as this makes a great base for many diets. Recommended

The chickpeas we got this time are pretty fresh, within a few hours of soaking they've grown a lot! Overall we really enjoy this brand and their taste.

These are so fresh when they arrive… I am so tired of cheap ones at the grocery that are completely dehydrated and never properly cook up.I have bought other products from Palouse, which are all good, but this one tops the bill. I had been buying their 5 pound sack, but finally purchased the large sack because I make a lot of chickpea dishes!For hummus, I cooked them in a pressure cooker. The husks absolutely disappeared... no hand peeling, which is such a tedious task. It was the smoothest hummus I've ever made!!Although they're a bit above my budget, I will continue to buy these. Totally pleased with the family-run farming. They are quick to ship and always arrive well-packaged.With such a rave review, I have to add that I don't represent Palouse nor am I affiliated with them in any way. I just applaud them!

the farms these chickpeas are from are great US farms in the northwest. the flavor is really fresh. good quality product that we've been using for years.

First of all, God bless the small farmers that can still stay in business amidst big agriculture. I've been ordering Palouse brand chickpeas for several years, and they're always wonderful. Other than making lots of incredible hummus with quality virgin olive oil garlic, salt, lemon juice, etc, I also put cooked chickpeas in my air fryer to get them just crunchy enough, and then dip them in olive oil, garlic, and a nice spice blend. Amazing! Super healthy, plenty of protein, so please support your family farms!

Best organic chick peas you can buy. Authentic taste and cooks plump. Soak in boiling water for couple hours and cook in pressure cooker. Add whatever seasoning delights you or just a bit of salt and enjoy.
