I bought this for my husband only to find out diabetics can not use it, but it is a HEAVY and very nice blanket. I did try it out and found it to heat nicely and hold its temp for many hours. Since we were unable to use it, I do not have long term thoughts. I am going to donate it to a homeless shelter if they will accept it.

I have used electric blankets my entire life. Can't sleep without one. I usually need to replace them after a year or 2 and even while in use, I need to have it on high and am often still cold. This blanket is THE BEST of the best. The settings go from 1-20. First use, I put it on 20 and had to turn it down. That has never happened to me. I now set it on 7 or 11 and am plenty warm. No hot or cold spots either. Completely uniform warmth and the perfect temperature. I will always be a customer of this blanket. Ours will be 4 years old April 2025. I just purchased a replacement in King size while I could still get them and purchased a king sized one for our son. I also purchased 2 in twin size to use as a lap blanket for myself and a gift for our son. My husband loves the one on our bed, too, and usually keeps his on 1 or 3 and is toasty warm at that setting. This is the best item on Bolo.

Been using this blanket for a week or so. Yes this blanket keeps you toasty at relative lower settings (for me 2-3) and will preheat nicely, but gets VERY warm quickly on preheat. There do not seem to be hot spots and the warmth is welcome as it is snowy here now. Things to note, the control is NOT as pictured and is hard to see at night as it lays flat on my bedside table and the buttons are not illuminated. There are 20 heat settings though I cannot imagine using the upper heat settings which should be labeled bake and broil. The blanket is soft and lightweight and you can easily feel the wires within. Please note that this and any other electric blanket I've owned has a failing. Assuming you order the size your mattress is, the heat wires only extend to a bit less than the edge of your mattress. When you the get in and the blanket is lifted to cover you, the edges and several inches more near the edge will not be heated. As I have a queen bed, I order a king. I do NOT tuck in any area with wires and they do not reach the floor, but now the bed shared with hubby has warmth to the very edge and some beyond. Additionally, for some reason the electric blanket industry fully supports the maintenance of cold shoulders. Again, like other brands I've owned, the warming wires only go to within about a foot of the top end of the blanket. As I am short, for me I can merely snuggle down further. For my taller husband, I put on a top fleece blanket that will help keep his shoulders from getting cold. This specific electric blanket has one other feature that discourages intimate marital relations in mid-winter. You see each side is plugged in separately and the wires for each side are not connecting, this is good....BUT. .. there is a 6-8" gap in the heated area going down the centerline of the bed. It is just big enough that you definitely know if you are crossing the midline of your bed to snuggle with your significant other. The only good thing about that is the cat is also aware of this cold stripe in the middle of the bed, so at least the cat is not in the way.

Great! For two months.Blanket worked perfectly. It would quickly heat and had a higher heat level the other blankets(which was so lukewarm, I questioned if they were even on. BUT...Something happened last week. First one side would turn off unexpectedly. Now it gives the dreaded 'E2' error and there is nothing that can be done. Purchased 1-02-2025..died 03-10-2025

I love this electric blanket! It’s changed my night life. The quality is great. Being menopausal I get hot and then chilled and can just change the settings and immediately get comfortable. The blanket is a nice weight and feel. The warmth is also wonderful on my arthritis. I regret not buying this years ago. I bought a queen size for a full mattress and it’s perfect. I’m sleeping better. We have a heavy bedspread over it that keeps it safe from little claws. Best sleep aid ever and I think that we’ll save $$ on our heating because we get so cold.

Purchased for my mother-in-law who has restless leg issues. She requested a heated blanket, and this one seemed like a great value for the price. We were not disappointed- the color is lovely (got the simple beige) and the feel is super soft and comfortable.The blanket heats well and very quickly. It seems to hold the heat nicely.Where we had some issues was in the controls. The controls allow for a heat setting and a timer setting. MIL was very confused as to which was which, and it caused her a lot of stress. The paper/written instructions are done in a style that shows multiple models in one sheet- which was not helpful. More photos or illustrations would have been easier to follow. Here’s the deal: There is a 2 digit read out for timer (hours) and temp setting- but no easy indication as to which you are looking at. You start with temp- set a number with up/down controls. Great. Then you flip to sleep setting and the readout shows 1h, that you can increase and decrease as needed. Seems ok… until you wonder, “did I set it for 2 hours? Or 3.” There is no countdown. So you can see heat setting, and the timer setting but not what it was previously set to.Workable for most people? Probably. But it was a whole thing for my MIL and my husband to figure out.

Even with a roaring fire in the wood stove she likes nothing better than to get cozy under an electric blanket on the sofa when it is time to relax. She is delighted with the quality and comfort of the electric blanket, which keeps her cozy and warm, and with its ease of use. She complained in the past that electric blankets from other brands did not include an off-switch on the controls, but instead simply shut off automatically after a certain point. She much prefers the certainty of being able to shut if off when it is not in use, so the inclusion of a definite on-off-switch in this electric blanket makes her feel safer. It is still early days in terms of its being used (just a few weeks) but so far I am very impressed.

Warmth for sleeping at night.

Turning it on a setting of 10 and a boost heat about 10 minutes before bed makes it so nice and warm. Heats up really fast using the boost. Don't need it on the rest of the night. Like the way that it is sewn in narrow strips down the length so that the heating coils don't move. The fleece isn't as soft and fluffy as our old blanket but it works really well. The old blanket (different company) took a long time to heat up. Very pleased overall
Broken already
Used only two months, and now it’s not working. Who said I should buy things that has good review. I’m telling that good review, quite expensive product, yes it’s broken still.
The best
I’ve tried lots of electric blankets but this is the brand that lasts. Everyone in the family has one and my truck driver husband even has one in the back of his work truck for when he is out over night. My oldest one lasted 10 years.
