Family enjoys this product. Problem is some bags are overly peppery for me, other bags perfect. Otherwise I would buy them regularly. But I can't handle spicy food on my stomach. My family enjoys them. Perfect snack size

I've tried everything but the Teriyaki flavor but keep coming back this regular version as a typical snack item. Yes, the product tends to be a bit more expensive than any others, but you'll know why once you bite into a piece - very tender, flavorful, you want to dive into the rest of the bag. The bag is not resealable, which is unfortunate as I tend to buy the larger bags (2 or 5 oz) and don't finish them in one sitting. I keep a bag in the office desk drawer, in the car, perfect snack for anytime heck - sometimes the 2.2oz bag is all I really need or want for lunch! Only one local store carries ANY product in the Perky Jerky line (and its the beef variety, I prefer the turkey), so I was driven to order from Bolo. As an add-on item to another order, you can usually get free shipping on this :)

Need a healthy snack that's packed full of protein without any fat?? Then look no further! This is such a great product. The jerky is very tender with a great flavor. A 1oz serving is only 50 calories, 0 fat, 110mg sodium, 2g carbs, and 9g of protein. If you are on weightwatchers thats just 1 POINT !!! The low sodium is a fraction of other dried meat products too. I will point out that the "perky" part of this jerky is that it is infused with guarana, a natural caffeine. Not sure how much, but my wife loves this stuff too and is more sensitive to caffeine than I am and she has NOT experienced any issue with the guarana. So depending on your caffeine sensitivity, this might not be the ideal pre-bedtime snack. But for a little somethin' in the middle of the day it is PERFECT!

The texture is soft & chewy in this turkey jerky, not tough like many. It’s delicious, great flavor. It’s our family’s favorite jerky. Great for snacks, travel & camping. It’s been discontinued twice, (by Bolo,) over the years, since I first bought it from Bolo, which is disappointing. It’s a bit more expensive than some, but well worth it for every tender, flavorful tidbit!
