In my opinion having a pomade like this is an essential men’s hair product. I have medium length thick, coarse, wavy hair that can be very unruly and difficult to tame. This product keeps everything neat, tidy, tight, and in place. Keeps the hairstyle in place for the day and has great lasting power. My style is more of pompadour/classic quiff and this pomade helps cut back on styling time with its strong hold. The smell is very masculine and pleasant without being overpowering. It does have a higher shine which I think enhances the style I’m going for and gives it a more polished look. I found that it is possible to decrease the level of shine by simply blow drying. I’m using both this and redken brews (medium hold/natural shine), while both are great products, this pomade gets the job done better for what I’m looking for and my hair texture as opposed to the Redken. Definitely recommend Uppercut’s deluxe pomade!

I have thick wavy hair. I have found that uppercut holds and styles my hair perfectly. I usually apply uppercut after showering. I apply uppercut by just taking a minimal amount on 2 fingers and rubbing it together in my hands. I then rub the product through my hair and style it. I have found it takes up to 3 applications to completely cover my hair. Uppercut has a sweet “honey whiskey” like smell that is not overpowering. The hold lasts all day. Uppercut pomade is my go to and seems like it will last a good while. I will definitely purchase this product in the future and highly recommend!

4 stars because My fiance loves this product! I Buy it for him all the time. However, this time when I ordered it. The product came with 2 fingers indented into it… Not sure how this happened. But I processed a return/ refund on it and hopefully they don’t put it back on the shelf, which I can assume is what happened..

I stumbled on this product on a recommendation from Reddit. Previously using Reuzel (light blue tin) and wanted to try something new as I didn’t appreciate how it often clumped together and/or felt sticky.This in comparison provides the same amount of hold, but is easier to work with (short, thick hair) and looks more natural IMO.I’m not a huge fan of the smell (I’d call it “coconut stripclub”) and would appreciate a less synthetic scent (pine/fir/oak maybe?), but I’m more concerned with overall functionality.

Very nice pomade! Easy to wash. It does dry my hair out a lot though, and ut doesn't have too much of a hold unless if you glop a lot of it on. But overall nice and no stinky smell either. Nice can design and feel too.

This product is a bit gazzy compare to Blind Barber. It gives extra shine and having a very nice aroma. Also this product doesn't hold for long time. I still find blind barbar perfect for my hair.
