Worked on the first night and eliminated a months long rat problem. Not mice, not a single rat... a few rats.On the 1st night I put out 8 pieces of bait, just placed on the floor where I had seen them moving about. (There are 8 pieces in a package.) The next morning, 2 pieces were gone, presumably taken back to the nest. I never found the missing pieces, and a 3rd piece was moved and partially eaten.The second night, a new piece was partially eaten and I haven't seen any signs or heard any rats going on 4 months now.Bought a bait box to put in the garage where I believe they were entering the house. The bait was eaten a couple of times, but is now untouched and still no rat problem.I tried the pellets-in-a-bag brand. The rats dragged 2 back to the next and ate into 2 bags in the rooms. Did nothing at all to stop the rats. NOTHING.* Note: I gave a pack of this bait to my friend who has been dealing with a rat problem for months. He said all activity stopped within 3 days and he found the dead bodies and where they had been hiding.

When the pest company came and tried a million things that did not end up working so someone suggested this and I put this out and rats were gone. Saved me money on paying the pest company. I put some peanutbutter and put it in the box or in a plastic baggie with peanutbutter and under the deck and they rip the baggie and take the whole thing back to whereever they live under the deck. And we don’t see them so keeps them from multiplying. Tried all the things they would not go for it and this they go for. If animals or kids near def use a lock box but that’s not an issue for us and they like living under our deck where only they can fit and get to apparently and seems to kill the whole nest. IJust put it out until they stop coming to eat it which is usually only a couple of days max so far.

Stop spending money on any other rat killing product. This "Just One Bite" is 100% effective. It is insanely good. I had to buy the large box - 8 ONE pound bars, which was expensive. BUT after trying traps, poisons, electronic traps, home made chocolate brownies which worked pretty well - but the rats always came back. Under my garage foundation. For 15 years, it has been a nuisance. I have spent maybe $400 to $500 dollars. Then this "Just One bite". I broke the brick into a few smaller pcs and simply put them in the rat hole. For 3 weeks - nothing. I thought it was another wasted effort. Then about 5 weeks later, I was out just checking the foundation and almost stepped on a dead rat, the female. Oh wow. Turned around and ... here was the male. Just lying OUTSIDE the hole. The den -- empty. It has been months and no rats want to go into this long established den. They are DONE. This product may take a few weeks. BUT IT COMPLETELY eliminates the rats. I have 7 ONE pound bars just sitting on the shelf. This stuff is THE answer. I am going to gift some of it to my friends who have the same rat issues.

I was skeptical. It works really well. Mice/Rats were digging into my hot tub insulation and this has solved the problem. I stored some in its packaging under my kitchen sink. Mice chewed through the package to get at it. I didn't even know there was a mouse in the house. If they'll seek it out and chew through the package to get the poison, it must be pretty good stuff! I spotted two dead mice outside within a week of placing it out. It works. It's expensive, but totally worth it.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Excellent at killing rats. My neighborhood has been doing development and disturbing the rats nest near me, as a result my block has seen an increase in rats sightings. This bar has killed them all. I've had to throw out at least 10 dead rats on my property.

I have purchased Just One Bite for mice in the past and it worked so I thought I would try the bait bars for rats. The rats seemed to be drawn to this bait. I would place some out where I knew there were rats. After a few days, I would check, and the bait was gone.The only downside to the bait bars is they are extremely hard to break apart. I had to find something sharp with a point and press very hard between the bars to separate them. Of course, you must be careful, as bits and pieces will crumble so be careful when doing this especially if you have if you have pets and other wildlife around.

I tried everything to get rid of the rat infestation, traps, other baits, baking soda recipes (which worked till they got smart and stopped eating that) cause they are smart.Save yourself frustration and time, this stuff worked great, they ate it like crazy and then about 4-5 days later no more rats! Worked as advertised! Will use again if I ever have a bad rodent problem.

Works great, give 4-5 days to start working and needs to be eaten every day by rodent. Would use for week or two to make sure with large infestation Will be buying again if needed. Very impressed with results. Definitely recommend.
