My daughter uses Efferdent for her Vivera retainers. She has been using it for four years now. We would go out often to purchase a box or two from the store for years so imagine my surprise when I found these on Bolo.com for next to nothing. My daughter got this box in October, 2012 and is still using the same box at the beginning of August. While at an activity oriented restaurant the server picked up her tissue wrapped retainers and threw them away while we were away from the table. My daughter then went several weeks without a retainer (her orthodontist had recently retired). We went with the Vivera this time and the Efferdent continues to work wonderfully. My daughter loves the ease of use. When she gets up in the morning she drops a tablet into her case, places her retainers in the case, and prior to leaving for school takes them out and places them in her storage case until she needs them again that night ( only has to wear retainers for nighttime sleeping now). Thank God she has finally stopped wearing the retainers throughout the day. Hopefully no more thrown away retainers now. My mother who has partials has even taken several handfuls for her dentures. She now wants me to order her a box as well. I will be reordering soon and I will get two boxes this time; one for my daughter and one for my mom.

Admittedly, I'm not old and nor do I have dentures.I actually use the product for getting the stench out of my KSO Shoe - Men's by Vibram and Vibram Fivefingers Komodosport LS Mens Running Shoes Black/Blue. I wear the Vibrams with no socks and while I workout or run. My feet already get really sweaty in regular shoes, but they really stink up these shoes bad. After about a couple of uses, I soak the Vibrams in water and 2 of these Efferdent tablets. I leave it in overnight and then throw them in the wash. I let them dry out in the sun and they are like new again. I usually have 2-3 pairs of Vibrams so I'm able to cycle through the shoes as one is drying. Before Efferdent tablets, I would try to throw them in the wash but the stank never came out all the way. These denture tablets are amazing.I also use the Efferdent tablets to clean my retainers. As expected, they work really well. One day if I have dentures, I'm sure Efferdent will do the job right.** Edit 11/28/2013 **I also started using these tablets for my night guard. I wear the night guard mouthpiece at night so that I don't grind my teeth at night. By morning, they smell. I found that brushing it alone with a toothbrush and toothpaste does clean it, but it takes a while to get into the grooves. These Efferdent tablets keep the mouth guard smelling fresh and clean.

I've used Efferdent Tablets for soaking my partial for over five years. Product remains effective cleaning the denture. I have no idea how it taste. I rinse my partial after removing it from the soak. I was impressed with the packaging. Thank you for using recycle friendly packaging. The addition of paper to prevent shaking. Much better than those air filled plastic bags. Redimom

Well, these tabs are not as powerful as other leading brands. They alsodo not fine perforate the wrappers, which makes them difficult to remove.I will continue to use this brand, and use two or three tabs in each cleaningsession. Perhaps this will aid in cleaning my tough lower denture stains. Topdentures came out very well; the lower set needs more cleaning. The size ofthe tabs are industry standard.
