So, I’m using their product for a scar over a toe and and forefoot. And over a second place on my calf. It’s easy to cut to shape and it’s staying on my foot but needs tape to stay on my calf. I have tape sensitivity so that’s not really an option. No skin issues with these sheets which is a plus. Today I’m trying and over-the-calf sock. Seems to be working.The loss of two stars is about the sealed outer envelope. It comes in a white cardboard sleeve that clearly reads it’s not returnable if the seal is broken. Inside is a sterile package. Each sheet in its own sealed side. I’m good with the outer seal and keeping it intact. The issue for me is that these sheets cost a fortune! The same seal could be obtained, the policy maintained and the package with a clear window showing the product. In order to get my eyes on the actual item I had to take a leap of faith and be willing to forfeit the purchase. They seem thick when I was cutting them but the thickness isn’t noticeable once applied. For the top of my toe it provides a bit of cushion.I am hoping they last as long as is reported. So far they have been easy to clean and re-stick to my foot.And just for the record. I’m not sure these need to be sterile as they should not be applied to any wound that has not entirely closed and has doesn’t have a sealed scar in place. These are designed to remodel a scar. A scar means the wound is fully closed, there is no evidence of scabbing and skin slough. And once I opened the package and touch the inside packaging it’s not sterile. At best it is clean.

I replaced ones my surgeon had given me with these after they stopped adhering. I’m not sure how much scar improvement they have given and now after a few weeks these are worn out also. They do protect sensitive skin from rubbing on your clothing.

They are of great durable silicone. I used mine for several weeks before having to replace them. Very happy with the look of my scar thanks to these.

This is a good product but go with the natural instead of the clear. I purchased the natural strips previously and was very happy with them - very adhesive and lasted several weeks with washing. After the natural strips wore out, I chose to purchase the clear stips to be able to view the incision with the strip on it. Bad idea!! The clear strips are good quality but they are not nearly as adhesive as the natural strips. If you use it in an area that moves alot, like I did, you'll spend all day readjusting and resticking it on. The natural strips are a much better value for the price.

Tuve una cirugía mayor y al cumplir un mes de ella, el cirujano me la recomendó, llevo usando el parche 5 meses y los resultados son muy notorios, estoy muy satisfecha con los mismos.

Wir haben das Pflaster zurechtgeschnitten und mussten feststellen, es eignet sich nicht für Gelenke. Das Pflaster löst sich bei Bewegungen ab, reppelt auf oder wirft Blasen. Wir nehmen jetzt wieder Gittertapes zur Narbenbehandlung.Schade, da hätte ich bei dem Preis mehr erwartet.
Viel Geld für keine Wirkung
Ich hab die Pflaster für eine lange Narbe am Oberarm gekauft. Es war sehr umständlich zu befestigen, hielt nach einiger Zeit nicht mehr und hat auch nichts gebracht. Das mag an der Stelle der Narbe liegen, trotzdem wage ich die Wirksamkeit zu bezweifeln
Gutes Ergebnis
Ich habe schon öfters mit EpiDerm Silikonfolie gearbeitet, da ich mehrere große OP-Narben habe. Da ich sobal wie möglich nach den OPs angefangen habe die Folien regelmäßig zu tragen, habe ich doch recht gute Ergebnisse erzeugt. Wehmutstropfen ist der Preis, da man für gewöhnlich die Folie bis zu einem halben Jahr tragen muss.
