But that's healthier than white rice, and this can be the base of so many meals, shelf-stable or otherwise. It's the perfect size. I ate dozens of these while living on a shelf-stable Bolo diet for a while. One time what I presume was a bad grain of rice made it taste slightly odd, but like I said I ate a lot of these and every other time it was fine. Rice is an agricultural product, you can't get it 100.0% perfect. Anyway. For what it is it's great.

I buy these for my dog. He gets one mixed with his kibbles, veggies, etc. for dinner. He’s a big active boi so needs the calories. And he loves the taste! They heat up in one minute and are the perfect size. I like that it’s not sticky rice which is difficult to mix into his dinner. We also travel a lot in a fifth wheel and it’s nice not having to haul a full rice cooker with us. And at home, these save a lot of time.
