We never brushed her teeth, after one horrible attempt. I had tried Arm and Hammer in the past, but both dogs hated it. The girl’s breath began to smell like literal death. A couple of teeth had some buildup. My whole family, and close friends, are glad I decided to give this a try.While I haven’t seen the miraculous “sloughing” of tartar a couple of others mentioned, I can now breathe while the girl is in close proximity. Literally, the 2nd day, I noticed her breath was neutral. Her teeth are showing ever-so-slight improvement. While this may not sound as great as other reviews, I’ve only been using this for 2 weeks. The first week I actually brushed her teeth 2x/day. The last week has been once a day.I mentioned I have 2 dogs. Our boy occasionally gets his brushed, but he’s not a fan. He seems to enjoy the flavor (vanilla mint), but when I say it’s time to brush, he goes and hides.The girl, on the other hand, actually comes running. She plops down on my lap and gets excited (she’s highly food motivated, very piggy).This will 100% be a recurring purchase. Highly recommend.

It's a tad pricey, but our 6lb 8mo. puppy likes this and will voluntarily chew on a toothbrush and do our job for us with this inoffensive enzymatic vanilla mint toothpaste on it. Easy peasy 😆👍 She's young yet, but so far her chompers are looking good and gums seem healthy, so it may be working. We recommend starting them young with any of the appropriate super soft, dense silicone bristle (puppy) barrel style and multi directional bristle tooth brushes. We hold the end and regularly change brush angle and direction while watch TV at night with our pup. The vanilla mint is not overly strong and smells fresh and pleasant to both us and the pup. Only use in supervised application. Change brushes frequently as they became worn to prevent danger from anything breaking off or being swallowed.

Update since using this, I don't even have to call my pup to clean his teeth. He comes and jumps in my lap as soon as I open the jar of finger wipes. This stuff must be delicious. He also stays in my lap for a while after I finish, to cuddle. He's never been such a lap dogMy peek was already used to having his teeth cleaned before bed. He would come when I called him and climb on top of me. I lay in bed to clean his teeth. That way I can see in his mouth. The bedside lamps light it up in there. He has always came to get them cleaned, but sometimes clearly reluctantly. I use the little cloth finger puppet style cleaners. I decided to add Toothpaste to the regimen and it must be tasty. Now he climbs on top of me as soon as I start opening the jar of finger wipes. I have to add Toothpaste with him on top of me. He won't wait to be called. In addition to tasting great, I do think I see better results cleaning. The vanilla mint smells pleasant too.

My cat is usually picky, but she actually tolerates this toothpaste. The beef flavor seems appealing to her, and I’ve noticed an improvement in her breath and less tartar buildup. I use it with a finger brush, and it foams lightly. Only reason it’s not 5 stars is the price—it’s a bit on the higher side—but it works.

This is really the best dog toothpaste out there. My dog had plaque that just wasn't going away. I ordered a normal toothbrush and used this toothpaste, I've seen a huge improvement!

My pup is not a fan of getting her teeth brushed, but this toothpaste makes it a little less dramatic. She actually tolerates it thanks to the vanilla mint flavor, which is a win in our book.We use it every night and the tube lasts a while. It was recommended by our vet, so I feel good about using it. Definitely a good product to keep those doggy teeth clean.

We've eliminated "dental chews" and only use this toothpaste and a scraper, which we've only had to use once. Our dog likes the toothpaste, and it leaves him with fresh breathe after brushing. Great value for the money, compared to other top brands. It has lasted a while, but we don't put a large amount of the toothpaste on the toothbrush. We use this toothpaste 3 days a week...approx.

It’s a great toothpaste. I have ridges several times these type of toothpaste for my babies labor that is very pleasant for them and as an important so they won’t reject the fact that we have to brush their teeth now and then even though I have them clean every six months, I still want to brush their teeth specially if they have been eating a lot of red. They are Very happy
