Great stuff. Works just exactly as it should and SO much better than just distilled water. When I bought this, the Xikar was a clam or 2 cheaper than all the other brands, though chemically they are all (supposed to be) exactly the same, so (theoretically) one brand shouldn't work any better than any other.It's really hard to mess up mixing 50% Propylene Glycol with 50% Distilled Water. But I guess it could be done. If someone tried really hard.This product at least, is what it is and does what it's supposed to. Which is keep my humi sponge & humi beads the right kind of wet, and recharge my Boveda Packs when needed (yes, they CAN be recharged. If you heard they were disposable....your source was infinitely wrong...and probably wears skinny jeans *shudder*).Works great, may buy it again when this bottle runs out. Or more likely I will probably just mix my own, because it's just not that hard to do. And Bolo sells all the parts you need, including a funnel. And towels. For cleaning up when you get distracted while pouring. So yea, don't try mixing 2 liquids together while marathoning Caprica. It's not going to end well. Neither your mixture or Caprica. Honestly, how do people manage to mess up such wonderfully simple things in life? Caprica was awesome. Then they killed it. No warning, nothing. Just....gone. What were we talking about? Oh yea, right.But if you are lazy (like me), or just too uncoordinated to pour two liquids into a container, this stuff will work just fine to keep your humi healthy & your cigars tasty. Assuming your cigars started out tasty in the first place. It's not some magic elixir after all. It's not going to turn a cheap unlabeled house cigar into a Liga Privada No. 9, goodness no. What are you thinking man! But it will keep that luscious No. 9 perfectly humidified until that special day when you pop it out and enjoy it.

I added it to one of my humidifiers and put it in a Tupperware container (with the rubber gasket) and put 25 cigars in. I checked it the of next day and it worked so well I will put 50 sticks in. I don’t yet know how long it will last before I need to refill the humidifier but the results were great and of course no mixing is required.Update: still have not had to refill after 2 months.

1. subjectively, it appears distilled water works best, but fungus will grow in the humidifier (guitar or cigar).2. so far the propylene glycol (pg), seems to control the fungus (i haven't seen any since i started using it).3. the sponge doesn't dry out as quickly as with only water, but i think this means less water is released to the cigar or wood (i use for guitar).4. since it controls the fungus growth, i can recommend it; i suggest you experiment so that you have the most water possible in the sponge and enough pg to control the fungus.

I have about 120 cigars in my humidor. I've had it happen...cigars got too moist and grew spores. I caught it early, so a light rubbing with a cloth took care of it with no ill effects.I've used distilled water in foam based humidifiers and gel beads refreshed with distilled water. Neither of them work consistently...and it's nerve racking when you can't trust your humidity system to take care of your collection. I've been using glycol now for quite a while, and the humidity level is rock solid. Even better, when it starts to drop, it drops slowly, so you have ample warning that the humidifier needs to be refreshed.The best thing is, that the humidity never goes above about 75% on my salt-calibrated hygrometer...and that is just about perfect...and I'm not seeing any mold growth.BTW, make sure that the bottle you get has the quality seal under the cap...some reviewers found that the quality seal was missing, and the product was apparently a knock-off...and it didn't perform well. Send it back if the seal is missing.

I responded to another post here but felt I should leave my own review. Here is my response to Chasenfish:"Same thing here and it's not charging my humidifiers! Just contacted Bolo and printed a return shipping label. I see now in their feedback that several people have the same issue. I think they're refilling bottles with an inferior solution... or maybe just mostly water.... or who knows what?! I'm a bit worried now wondering what my sticks may have been absorbing. I thought maybe I accidentally broke the seal so used it to fill humidifiers. Wasn't until I noticed it wasn't maintaining anywhere near 70% RH that I checked more and saw the safety seal issues. Contact Bolo and return it, it's the best way to help make sure the problem or scam they're running gets dealt with.They cover return shipping... just make sure you cite the safety seal being broken. I'm subscribing to the comments here so anyone please feel free to ask questions here and I'll respond. Our stogs are too precious to have them ruined by these greedy charlatans!BUYER BEWARE!!!"

I used to this brand very long time and i was very happy with it.last time i ordered it popular brand solution but I’m not happy with it .i ordered it again this brand and the best you don’t have any issues with it.i have cigars in humidor and with this solution I keept cigars Almost 8 years non of them broken I’m still keeping them for fresh some my memories
