The Fast & Easy Way to Treat Corrosion
Clean & Prep Surface
Clean/degrease area to be treated, thoroughly rinse and allow to fully dry. Remove any previous paint coatings and scuff glossy surfaces.
Mask Off Areas & Brush
Use painter's tape to mask off any areas that you do not wish to treat. Remove any excess rust build up with a wire brush - no need to scrape down to the bare metal.
Apply Rust Reformer
For Spray, shake can for at least 1 minute and then spray surface, holding can 10-16" away. Spray in a steady back and forth motion, slightly overlapping each stroke
For Brush On, pour a liquid into a separate container and use a brush to apply formula in even strokes across the surface.
Allow to Cure
Allow to fully dry before use.
For Spray, allow 24 hours before use or recoating.
For Brush On, item can be handled at 1 hour. Allow 3 hours before top coating with oil-based paint and 3 days before top coating with lacquers or aerosols.
