I received this board game today and I just feel like tossing it in the trash. You get what you pay for:( . The board is thin and folded in 4 and the checkers are very light and do not interlock. I will buy a better one because this board is going to stress me out if I play with it. I bought it because my mom is in a nursing home and has been asking me to buy checkers. Not taking this to her because I know her well. lol .

Well they don't make the checkerboards like they used to! This one is very thin! And the checkers are super thin and although they have ridges they really don't stay together. When I opened the box the red checker bag was open so I'm not sure if this was a return or not and they just resold it, bt all the pieces were there so it served the purpose of being able to play checkers with someone. I suppose I can't expect much for the price I paid.

It doesn't sit flat against a table.
Disappointing
I had purchased the checker board game for my grandson as a Christmas gift. He came to visit me early February. When he opened the box there was no checkers inside. Just the board.We have been talking on the phone for weeks looking forward for him to come down so that I could teach him how to play checkers. 😩
Okay, but...
The game itself is okay and the all the pieces were present. The board is flimsy but expected for the cost. I bought one for my kids and one to be a gift. One of the boxes was very badly damaged. At the time, there were no others for sale and those in stores around me were much more expensive, so I kept it. Hard to give as a gift, even to ones own children, but the game itself was fine.
