Long story short, we’ve tried a variety of paper, silicone, and cloth tapes, and this is the best quality so far. It has good adhesion on skin and multiple bandage types (discovered that backings vary a lot). Plus, this doesn’t seem to irritate the skin, even with heavy bandage changes every 48 hours. So far, worth the money and saves a lot of headaches having to use two or three different tape types at once.

Great paper tape but this batch of rolls had no starter tabs. I had scratch the roll to find the beginning and fold over to create my own starter tab.These boxes of tapes used to be available to buy with each roll coming in a blue tape dispenser that looked like a large, plastic scotch dispenser. Of course the price was higher BUT no matter! Make this available to us again!! So many of us are mouth taping with this tape!!!

I am using this for mouth taping and it has improved my health almost overnight. I wear a pulse ox monitor for mild sleep apnea, and normally it records 20-30 instances per night of oxygen falling to around 80%. With taping this drops to zero. Zero. I’m in my 40s and never experienced sound sleep like this. Of course I tried all the things, diet (I’m not overweight), allergy meds, TMJ appliances, different pillows... but taping has basically cured me.I do have TMJ in my right jaw (jaw dislocates every time I talk or chew) and I was nervous how my bite would be affected; I still wear my nightguard and so far, if anything, taping seems to be reducing the overall strain on my jaw.I like this so much I’ve been wearing tape during the day between meals to continue to train my nose breathing. Again it’s been literally (and positively) mind altering to have more oxygen all the time. I have struggled with compulsive overeating my whole life and it seems a little sadistic to do this to myself but it’s been enormously helpful - because the tape is a pain to apply and remove, I can gently restrict myself to normal meals instead of grazing junk food all day (I’m a champion overeater). I can still drink fluids through a straw just fine.All that said, I don’t know wtf people are on about here saying this peels right off. Getting this off my lips the first time was painful and scary. It would NOT come off and even using warm water it peeled the skin off my lips and still left a bunch of annoying residue. Next time I tried applying lip balm before the tape and through some alchemical nightmare it stuck even worse. I might try a barrier cream and see if it helps. For now what works for me is I either reuse the strip a second time, or I press my clean fingers on the 1/2” section that goes over my lips to reduce the tackiness there. I also tried taping a piece of the same tape in the middle of the strip (so the 1/2” section over my lips only contact the nonsticky side of tape), but then my actual lips weren’t taped together and it wasn’t as effective because I still found myself sneaking mouth breaths.

I had a skin issue for almost two years before I got it under control. I had open sores that oozed. Bandaids were too expensive and harsh on my skin so I sought alternative solutions. I found that buying this tape and buying bulk dressings made for way cheaper bandaids with minimal extra time taken out of my day. The skin doesn’t irritate and the tape holds very well under dry conditions.I do a lot of grappling and the tape will hold under friction to a point. Once I get super sweaty forget it sticking on if there is any friction, BUT remember, I needed something that was sensitive to my skin. So I did not mind.I also used this as finger tape. Similar to that of a rock climber or Jiu Jitsu (BJJ) athlete. Cheapest tape there is out there for that. The only downfall is the adhesive separates from the fabric and sticks to your finger. A slight chore to friction the adhesive off, but I’m saving money compared to the tape that grapplers wear. I’ll take it.Highly recommended. This item has given me an increased quality of life while figuring out what was wrong with me (dermatitis herpetiformis)
