This is a great anchor for the price. I bought 2 for my boat. Although, I have already lost one. The metal piece on the top seems like a great idea.However, that is what came loose on mine and I ultimately lost my anchor in the bottom of the lake that way. I would remove that piece and attached a rope directly. If tied correctly, you know a rope won't come loose.

This anchor has good weight and even looks good!
Disappointed
Received anchor with damaged vinyl coating. Poor quality control. The threaded pin was also missing from galvanized shackle and was nowhere to be found in the box. It’s disappointing that they can ship something that is incomplete and not even usable. I’m going to have to purchase another shackle now.
