When I first smelt this cologne at Kohl's I loved it. I wanted to get my boyfriend a new cologne because the one he was using is just a bit too strong. So, naturally I look on Bolo to see if I can get it cheaper and lo and behold I can. I order the 3.4 fl oz for $21.99 here when at Kohls it was $52. In my opinion, that's a great deal. It also was shipped within four days of me purchasing and I just chose standard shipping so that was wonderful. Overall, I'm very pleased with this cologne both for its fantastic scent and for its price.

I stumbled across Vintage Black at a local department store while looking at other, more mainstream colognes. I did the responsible thing and sprayed some on, then went shopping for a couple hours. The initial scent is bright, fresh and full of citrus. Lime and tequila are the two that seem to come through the most. However, this top note fades within 20-30 minutes and reveals a mellower, darker scent which I think is perfect for going out to clubs at night (the reason I bought it), but is unobtrusive enough that it would still be appropriate in a more professional or dressy environment. I've already gotten compliments, and plan to make this my "signature scent."As for packaging and shipping, this arrived a week after it was supposed to. That was, however, the fault of UPS (they "misplaced" it in one of their sorting facilities) and not Bolo. The bottle showed up in perfect condition; the only issue I encountered was a bit of leakage the first time I used the sprayer and had to prime it. Since then, it's worked like a charm.If you're looking for a slightly dark, classy, uncommon (compared to the usual Armani, Davidoff, and Jean Paul Gaultier options) and modern (ironic, I know) scent, I recommend at the very least trying this out at a local store. Then buy it here since it's half the price. :)

First off, let me tell you, I love this scent and so does my wife. I had been paying double until I saw that Bolo was selling this for almost 50% less than a discounted perfume website that I normally buy from. I thought, "How can I go wrong?" I'll tell you how. I received the bottle of Vintage Black in the two days that my Prime membership dictates. The box was in perfect condition but I noticed that the box felt light. I have been purchasing Black and Vintage Black for years and worked for 30 years in a manufacturing environment that honed my sense of touch to be very accurate in judging fine weights. I once caught a manufacturing error because the gauge of the fabric being used was .005 less than the spec called for. Yes, you can get that attuned to weights and measures. Okay, enough of my super-human skills. I opened the box and the Vintage Black box was in perfect condition with no evidence of leakage whatsoever. You can always tell when liquid seeps onto paper and cardboard even if it's long since dried. There would be the 'wrinkling' or 'puckering' that would tell you that the product had leaked out. There was none of that on the exterior box or the interior cardboard (also no obvious smell). I took the bottle out and knew immediately that it was seriously 'light'. Fortunately, I had another full bottle of regular Black that I alternate with the Vintage Black as I love both scents. To my shock and dismay, there was less than half of the liquid in the Vintage Black than was in the full bottle of Black! You can see the liquid level by holding it up to bright light or sunlight coming through a window. It was obvious that either someone in Bolo's warehouse is emptying bottles of cologne or Bolo's wholesaler is ripping them off. I immediately notified Bolo of this and they agreed to send a new bottle out since this stuff can't be returned due to flammability. They also told me that they would be placing a hold on this product until the issue was investigated. Well, there's no hold after one day of telling me that so they either got to the bottom of it and fixed it or they just decided to blow smoke up my skirt. I also told them that I would let them know if there are any issues with the replacement bottle and I'll update this review with those findings. Great scent but make sure you check your bottle when it arrives. If it's half full, you'll know that the scam is still ongoing.1st edit: I had a brainstorm that a third possible explanation exists. Maybe the bottle was filled with the 1.7 ounces that goes in their smaller size bottle by mistake right at the factory?2nd edit: Received a replacement bottle that was totally full. Very suspicious set of circumstances around this and I'd advise everyone to hold their bottle to a light to make sure it's full.

I really love the smell of this cologne. I wear several colognes, depending on the occasion. However Vintage Black is the one I wear on a daily basis. Apparently women really love the smell too!! My wife loves it, and I was introduced to it by my previous girlfriend that gave it to me as a gift. I have purchased it several times already.

I bought this b/c while in Houston, my buddy had some he kept in his car. I travel locally quite a bit and find it a hassle to carry larger bottles with me. Not only is the scent good for day, evening and night but cheap enough to buy two bottles (which I did) and put one in each vehicle. I bought the 3.4 oz bottles b/c I like to put it in the vehicle and forget needing to replace it. It will last quite a while.
Vintage black the unbeatable
The most amazing perfume with a magical effect. I do not find any kind of deterioration in quality. It would be wonderful if it's always available in Bolo. Many times its unavailable. That stands proof for its quality yo!

El paquete venía como siempre y fue entregado correctamente. Pero por dentro al estar la caja con el perfume ladeada se ha derramado interiormente y ha mojado el envoltorio y la caja de embalaje. Lo he entregado a la hora en el punto celeritas más cercano y me dicen que tarda en aceptar devolución. Dejo mi tf y número etiqueta. Ventajas: He podido oler el perfume y está muy bien. He comprado otro y espero la devolución de éste.
