Love this tape don’t break me out and don’t leave the tape marks but olds on more then a toddler when they grab your hair

While the 6" width is helpful in many applications, it can be difficult to tear, even at the perfs. Sissors are handy.You may also want to consider the 2" width of the same tape. Easier to tear at the perfs with a quick motion. Doing it slowly allows the tape an opportunity to deform.

I bought this after receiving some from the burn unit to address a burn I had. I really like it! It tears easily, sticks well and removes without pain and very little residue over time. What more could I want in a first aid tape?! Highly recommend as a constant in the first aid supplies!

I have a long-term chronic wound that has required treatment on my leg for the last 5 years. My DME only will cover paper tape which I do not like. I have always ordered this type of tape. The price is recently have gotten outrageous. $10 a roll that's crazy, used to could get them closer to $7 a roll. Hopefully the price will reduce again soon and I will be able to afford them on my limited budget.

A nurse used this on me and I had to have some for myself! It's wide and stays on tight. I have not tried it in the shower but when I took it off when I used it the last time I wish that I HAD taken a shower because it will not come off! This is good for wet wounds that have to be bandaged with wads of gauze, shear or abrasion wounds that are wide, wounds that have to be packed, or for use on wiggly children who will work off a bandaid.

Please give this tape a try. It comes in several widths but they all work the same. The name "medipore" says it all. The tape really does have "pores" in it which lets in air where the tape is on your skin. The result is that even though this tape stays on (as long as you need it to) it also peels off without tearing your skin off with it. It's also perforated about every two inches lengthwise so you can pull off whatever size bandaging material you need and then tear it--scissors are never needed. Finally, it's "conforming" -- meaning it stretches and bends so that you can tape a bandage onto a flat surface, or you can tape over a knuckle. The tape finds a way to stretch into a space and stick and stay until you take it off. I learned about this tape in the hospital where I had to survive many painful bandage changes until one very kind nurse saw what the other tape was doing to me and left to track down some medipore tape. It's the only tape in my arsonal now. Try it. You won't regret it. I promise.

Sticks well without damaging your skin
This stuff sticks really well without damaging your skin and is comfortable. It leaves a bit of residue but much less than a standard band aid material and it washes off easily. It also does not appear to react with your skin or leave a rash as some adhesive (tapes) due. It appears to be "cotton like" and seems breathable and somewhat stretchable. You get a large roll of it but it will easily cover off any size wounds that is six inches wide and as long as you roll it out to. I used scissors to cut the portion I required and stuck gauze on the wound and applied the tape. I suppose you could shower with it but this wasn't attempted. If you have a wound you need to cover and the tape you have keeps coming off buy this instead.
