SYSTANE NIGHTTIME Lubricant Eye Ointment is designed to help keep eyes lubricated and comfortable while you sleep. Made for nighttime dry eye care, this ointment forms a smooth, protective layer over the eye to provide temporary relief of burning and irritation due to dryness.
This preservative-free formula uses Mineral Oil 3% and White Petrolatum 94% as active lubricants to help relieve dryness of the eye and protect against further irritation. Its ointment format supports nighttime protection, making it a thoughtful addition to an evening eye care routine for those experiencing dry eye symptoms.
Apply by gently pulling down the lower lid of the affected eye and placing a small amount of ointment inside the eyelid as directed. Remove contact lenses before use, avoid touching the container tip to any surface, and replace the cap after each use. For external use only, store at room temperature, protect from light, and ask a doctor if eye pain, vision changes, or redness or irritation worsens, persists, or lasts more than 72 hours.
