Had the 'lemongrass' version of this, and trying the lavender now. Both are great, and do exactly what they say - help keep skin clear and blemish free. As I have gotten a bit older the age spots have tried to find a home and the thayers slows that process considerably. Also reduces inflammation in skin. I found the best way to apply it is to get 'cotton rounds' (flat cotton discs) and soak one a bit. A bottle goes a long way. Be sure to shake it before use as it makes a difference.

Apparently Thayers has stopped offering the taller plastic bottles of this product. It doesn't make much difference to me, witch hazel will always be something I keep on hand. Its great to moisten a q-tip and clean inside the folds of the ears, especially kids! It has a natural, fresh lavender scent which is not overwhelming, and much more energizing in my opinion than the scent free, although both varieties work the same. The cucumber scent is another favorite of mine, so I often switch each time I order. Mostly I use it on a cotton cosmetic pad to clean my face each morning. I also use a few drops of witch hazel to mix into jars of moisturizers that begin to get thick from opening and closing the lids each day. Several drops or more, then mix around, and the consistency will lighten up and spread easier. Lastly, if you have some natural ingredient body lotion left over in a bottle, or pump bottle which is hard to get out, pour enough witch hazel in to shake and blend a very light lotion. which makes it easier to use up as it will pour out of the bottle and you won't waste what is normally left over.

Surprisingly, the fragrance in the cucumber witch hazel isn't irritating (sinuses )at all. It makes no sense, but Thayers must put only a super minuscule amount of it in their formula. I'm one of those people who usually has to buy fragrance-free products. So Thayers cucumber witch hazel is a lovely surprise.I've been cleaning my face at night with Thayers regular and cucumber versions basically since the beginning of covid. It feels great on the skin, plus I can't get enough of the cucumber version!One sad thing I just learned from my dermatologist is that using witch hazel -- not brand related -- dries out your skin with excessive use. It can break down the skin barrier. It also has tannins which can be overly drying. She highly recommended adding a non-comedic moisturizer after using witch hazel.So be careful when you use any kind of witch hazel. If you love the scent of cucumbers, then try Thayers cucumber version. It's so good!

I believe this product is one of the main reasons my acne has practically disappeared. I dealt with painful cystic acne for 2 years before I found this product, and this has help not only keep my face from hurting, but it kept me from breaking out and heal much faster. It is also not like other toners that immediately dry your face out. My face actually feels moisturized after using it! I used to use the Clinique toners, but they were so drying that they were actually making my acne worse because my skin was over producing oil to compensate for all the moisture loss (and yes, I was following up with multiple moisturizers). This stuff feels (and smells!) so nice. Seriously, you will not regret buy this!Some people have complained about not getting "authentic" products by this brand off Bolo, but from what I can tell this specific order is authentic (it has the lot number on the bottom of each bottle).

Pleasantly surprised
Usually I avoid anything with scent so I use the original Thayers with just aloe and witch hazel, but for some reason the lavender is cheaper (esp. the 3 pack so I gave it a shot) the scent is pleasant and not overpowering and doesn’t cause any reactions on my sensitive skin. Has fully become part of my skincare routine as it keeps my face fresh and clear

Beware! These might not be authentic products!
Arrived with one of the bottles with broken seal which leaked through the other bottles. Also noticed that the products looked contaminated/old. The toner looks brown than the usual ones I get. I thought it’ll save me money getting 3 all at the same time but it seems this one might not be authentic at all... Definitely won’t be putting these on my face. Returning them immediately.

Excellent product as an after shave......refreshing.....if you have any cuts while shaving insect bites good for that as well
