The flip down side makes it easy to take out the CD's, and I taped notes to the inside of the flip down side for a section of each of the CD's, like 50's, country, movie sound tracks, etc.

Have ordered several of these as CDs fit perfectly and the quality is high. Using these in cabinets as they are stackable and one can easily organize based on genre or A-Z as needed.

The biggest virtue of this CD holder is that it's not made of clear plastic or black polymer; instead, it is simply a faux leather oblong box that will securely hold up to 40 jewel cases. If you are like me and have a colonial or more traditional decorating scheme, this CD holder is a great way to blend that function into your decor.The unit is very well built, with straight, even seams and stitching, and, believe it or not, the dark brown faux leather truly looks more real than one would expect.

I bought the 3 of the “dark brown” holders. I’m disappointed with the color. It isn’t really dark brown. It’s more of a grey. I’m giving them 4 stars due to their quality construction, which is really quite good, but had I known about the color before purchasing, I probably would not have bought them. YMMV.

This is a quality product with a great design. It has cutout handles for easy transport. The front folds down to allow for viewing the cd titles. It looks impressive.
