About this item:
Create hot and toasted panini sandwiches with the Adcraft Panini Grill. This commercial panini grill is ideal for use in restaurants, cafes, delis and other foodservice establishments. It has grooved cast iron plates that distribute heat evenly throughout the upper and lower plates, allowing you to grill both sides of your sandwich without flipping it over. Additionally, grooved plates leave grill marks on the sandwiches, offering a more visually appealing presentation. This panini press is constructed of durable stainless steel with an adjustable thermostat that ranges from 120°F to 570°F degrees. Each sandwich grill has a removable stainless steel oil tray and wire brush for easy cleaning. The cooking surface measures 13.25" x 9.25". 120V, 1750W, 14.5 Amps. NEMA 5-15 plug. Ideal for grilling and pressing sandwiches, the Adcraft Panini Grill is an excellent choice for your commercial kitchen.

5.0 out of 5 stars I am special to own this fine Panini Maker!!

I love this item. I had been searching for months trying to choose a Panini maker. It was hard finding one because I wanted a nicer panini maker than the average department store model, yet there were no reviews to go by at the time of my purchase. The choice to purchase from Grover Brothers Restaurant Equipment was an excellent decision. They were there from me from the beginning to the end. I had so many questions. Not being a restaurant owner, I didn't know how to use it. This one, the Adcraft is not like your home panini maker. Also, it is bigger than I imagined. It can probably make 6 sandwiches at a time and it weighs near 50 pounds! You need to have a place to keep it because it is too heavy to move around. I love panini's so much! If you decide to get one, don't get alarmed like I did about the initial smell and smoke. It is the wax burning off the grill and is normal for first time use. Also, I was not experienced and my first panini stuck to the grill because I did not ‘season’ it first. That is what I learned by contacting the seller. After I used the wonderful included wire brush to clean the grill, I used peanut oil to brush the grill and left it on for about 15 minutes at about 340 degrees. The second panini was perfect. Not even close to sticking. Apparently, after you season it with oil, it is good to go for many panini's. No need to butter the bread ever. I am very happy with this panini maker and I will update this review if possible. Update: june 2015. It is 3 years later and I am still very happy with this. I like having this restaurant grade machine in my kitchen. Just an update, it is now 11 years later and I still love it and it still works great.!!!! Now that more reviews have been added, I can see that many users are complaining about sandwiches sticking. That is happening because they don’t know to season it.

It works really well (crisps bread nicely), but is a bear to clean. IF you are NOT a commercial company, then there is NO warranty or guarantee. If you buy it, then that's it. It is a lot of money, so think about it. If it is flawed or anything goes wrong right away, you cannot deal with the company. Best thing you can do is find someone who can repair it and pay for it yourself.

It still smokes when in use. When it happened the first time we used it (after following instructions of burning off the coating) it filled the building with smoke. I called in to service dept and they said they had similar issues with others and to turn it on and leave on till stop smoking. I plugged it in outside and left for hours. It has been better - but smokes if you make more than a couple sandwhiches. Also impossible to clean. Everything sticks to it.

It came onetime, it is good quality and well put together but the top part doesn't heat up as well as the bottom so the grilling is uneven.. Also the surface is not as non stick as I expected.. Hard to clean..
5.0 out of 5 stars Great.
This is the second time I buy this for my restaurant. Exactly as expected. It is a commercial grade. Thanks
