Good value. We use at least three boxes of these each winter to start our wood stove on a daily basis. I could use kindling and newspaper to do the same thing but I really hate splitting twisty oak logs and we don't take an actual newspaper any more.Lightweight, burns for an adequate length of time, and good enough quality to hold together and not come apart in the box.

Love these for starting our outdoor fires. Toss one in the bottom of the Breeo on the cross-bars (flat side up), build a nice base of firewood around it, light it and let it do it's thing. No more hunting for kindling, grabbing old papers, etc etc. Burns for a decent amount of time, allowing you to keep feeding the fire until you have a solid base going.

Arrived on time as described. These are a convenient size, hold together well and work great. Both a plus and a minus that they take a while to light. I camp a lot and always have on hand. This is my second purchase.

LIGHTNING NUGGETS
In the winter we like to have the occasional fireplace burn and summer while camping.These little starters will be so handy! I found it easy to get lit.To try it, I lit one in the fireplace and it had a good flame for almost 20 minutes!I will toss a bunch in to a plastic bag and off to camping.My only gripe is that when I opened the shipping box from Bolo it had a collection of wood pieces from the lighter nuggets.UPDATE July 21, 2018 Just got back from camping and used these starters. They worked perfectly! One morning, the wood was damp on the outside from the rain overnight. It took the whole content of the nugget but the fire caught and soon was burning fine.
Would purchase again!
These nuggets work perfectly. One comment was that they are hard to light. Sure, they may take a moment to catch, but they burn for good while and they do work! Compared to what I was paying for puck starters at my local fireplace shop these nuggets are terrific value for a box of 100. Will order again when these run out.
These are our favorite firestarters to date
These are our favorite firestarters to date. They burn for a very long time, catching even hard to light wood on fire. In regards to be hard to start, we found that at first too, but it just takes some practice. Make sure you set them with their rounded side down, and hold the lighter on the rounded underside, not on the top flat part of the disc. Light in 10 seconds no issue and work great from there.

My son and I heat two houses with wood stoves. We have been using this product for 2 or 3 years now. Using Lightning Nuggets is the ONLY way to start fires daily! The old method of newspaper and kindling is too much work and almost impossible these days with newsprint that won't burn hardly at all. Must be the new paper and the inks they use. Finding these nuggets has made our fire lighting lives a pleasure instead of a chore!
Kindling needed
This product works well and lights a fire in our woodstove easily, but it does need kindling. One nugget will not light logs without kindling to help the fire along.
