It was easy to install, took less than five minutes and cleared my check engine light after I disconnected the ground terminal on my battery waited a couple of minutes and put the battery cable back on.It’s been a couple of weeks still no check engine light coming back 👍

My 2016 Impala Limited LTZ was occasionally throwing a Evap Leak code. Seemed to happen most often after refueling. Recently, the Evap Leak code came on and would keep coming on even after clearing the codes. Gas cap is the most common and easiest to replace. This was an exact fit except for the tether - that was a little long and a different style. No worries, I just used a different tether point in the fuel filler area. Cleared the code and it has not come back on since (over a week of driving).Side note - I had replaced the cap previously with an aftermarket one and it did not fit very good. I should have just bought this OEM in the first place. Lesson learned!

It fits perfectly on my 2008 Chevy Silverado, I made the replacement because my car tester gave me a code p0446 and suggested that I check the fuel cap. Now I think my gas lasts much longer than before; I think my money was leaking because of the old cap

For the past few months I've had a regular check engine light pop up soon after a fill up. More recently, I've had a message to tighten fuel cap. Ordered this replacement fuel cap and after install I haven't had any further issues. 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche.
