Simple, plain, and economical. I prefer a clear glass salt shaker. You can see the salt. That is important to me. I feel so much more at ease when the salt is visible. This shaker may disperse the salt a bit quickly; but you'll never have difficulty getting the salt out of it; and, with practice, one can become a master of shaking and distribution of good old NaCl. Plus, you get to feel as if you are dining at your favorite diner or luncheonette with this familiar looking baby. And, if it does clog up, you can see the problem inside the glass and fix it with ease. The top unscrews easily, and screws back on with little effort. This shaker fits nicely into one's hand. It is uniquely graspable, and it makes good use of one's opposable thumb. An orangutan or raccoon would find it quite facile, and would probably thank you for it. It also fits nicely into one's pant's or coat pocket for transport throughout the globe. One may hide it under one's pillow if the need arises. One may place it on one's bathroom shelf if one so desires. One may even keep it under one's Bowler Derby while visiting Dublin or London or Copenhagen. This handy dandy salt shaker is a treasure worth its weight in salt? Sorry, I couldn't resist. So, don't hesitate to purchase this little gem. It looks so lovely, sitting on my kitchentable in the twilight awaiting the next meal. I can almost cry.

I get the right amount of salt every time using this shaker. It's intuitive design takes away the challenge of appropriate salt application. Using this product, you just have to remember one thing, if you want more salt, shake it more. If you want less salt, shake it less. You'll get just the right amiunt of salt you need every time. I haven't screwed it up yet!

This is a good salt shaker. It’s kind of small but that’s OK. I like it. It’s heavy for its size and you can tell it’s made with a good amount of glass so that setting it down won’t make it shatter hopefully

This charming salt shaker emits retro vibes of an old-timey diner and can be used for salt, pepper, ground cinnamon, etc. However, be advised that you do not have to shake this salt shaker; it is best to tilt it slightly because the salt comes flowing out like Niagara Falls. This is not so bad once you get the knack of it...just a slight tilt, and your meal will be seasoned.
