5.0 out of 5 stars AWESOME!!! Directions on flushing cooling system.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } It's DARK red and I believe to be genuine Toyota coolant. Used it in 2012 Camry SE with 4 cylinder motor. Flushed the system using 6 gallons of distilled water. Then drain. Topped off with 1 gallon of Toyota antifreeze and more distilled water. Makes a 53/47 mix.Directions for 2012 Toyota Camry SE with 4 cylinder engineTools needed: Small pliers, 1 gallon of Toyota Antifreeze, 7 Gallons of Distilled water, catch pan and 4 feet of rubber hose around 1/8 inch inside diameter or similar. (Optional: 10mm socket and ratchet to remove plastic air dam under radiator. I didn't do this, but some find it easier to reach the radiator drain valve)1) On COLD engine, remove radiator cap and set it to the side (you won't need it again until the end of project) Then open the drain valve on the bottom of radiator using pliers.2) Let the radiator drain out.3) Close the drain valve finger tight.4) Fill radiator with Distilled Water.5) With Radiator cap off, start engine and run until warm, paying attention to adding more distilled water as the air escapes and the water level drops. Be sure to turn on the heater, so water can circulate through the whole system. If you see foam, don't worry about it. It may take 20-30 minutes to get the engine completely warm. Shut engine off.6) Get under car and open the drain valve on the bottom of radiator. Be careful not to get splashed as it will be hot.7) After it stops draining, close the drain valve and fill with distilled water doing step 5 & 6 all over again until you've used 6 of the 7 gallons of distilled water. (Note: You will only need to run the car 10-15 minutes because it will be warm thus circulating the water throughout the system giving a good dilution of the old coolant. I periodically got the RPMs to 2,000 to help circulate the water)8) After you've used the 6 gallons and the radiator is EMPTY, close the drain valve for the last time using pliers. DON'T over tighten the drain valve! It only needs to be finger tight, then just a slight snug with the pliers. It seriously takes very little tightening, so not the split the plastic drain port. Snug it!9) Remove plastic cap on the radiator overflow reservoir. Using the 1/8 inch rubber hose, siphon the plastic clear overflow reservoir empty. Then make note of the "L" & "F" mark on the overflow reservoir. Fill the overflow half way to the "F" mark with distilled water. Then the rest of the way to "F" mark with Toyota Antifreeze. It doesn't need to be perfect as it will mix with whats in the radiator after a few drives.10) Fill the radiator using the remaining Toyota Antifreeze. Start engine and top off with distilled water. Put radiator cap on making sure it's all the way on. That's important. Some people will get it crooked, so make sure it's on right.11) Drive the car around the neighborhood 15-20 minutes. Park the car allowing it to completely cool overnight. The next day check the coolant overflow reservoir. Remember the "L" & "F" marks? Fill it the "F" with distilled water only. Drive the car throughout the day as normal. Check the overflow reservoir the next morning and fill as needed.TIP: My driveway isn't level. It has a slight grade so I positioned the car down hill throughout the whole process of flushing. On the final fill using the Toyota Antifreeze, I re-positioned the car facing uphill to help rid the system of air. I feel this really helped the process.
5.0 out of 5 stars OEM Toyota Coolant
I always insist on using the right coolant for my vehicles. This product is recommended for my 20 year old Tundra.Using the wrong product could damage the internals of your cooling system.
5.0 out of 5 stars Product good, handling not so good.
It came like this but it’s Toyota OEM it’s the best. I find it funny that people in the comments complain about it not being diluted.
5.0 out of 5 stars OEM quality
Used to replace old fluid of my Toyota truck. Don't forget to dilute 50/50 with distilled water.
5.0 out of 5 stars authentic Toyota coolant
After flushing my Camry with distilled water ( very cheap at Target) there is about 1 gallon of water left in the engine block, adding this gallon of concentrate coolant makes the desired 50/50 mix that is recommended . Tested after a day of driving and I am protected to minus 35 degrees below zero. Very satisfied and great value over paying 200- 300 bucks at the dealer.
4.0 out of 5 stars Toyota quality
Seems legit. About the same price as local but I figured I would order it with some other stuff, and save some gas to go get it
5.0 out of 5 stars Good coolant for older Toyotas
This is the OEM coolant for Toys through 2003, I believe. It was OEM for the 2002 Highlander, and rather than switch to pre-diluted Super Long Life (pink) which Toyota apparently started putting in vehicles in 2004, I am sticking with Long Life (red). Would rather change the fluid every 2 yrs then let it go a long time anyway. Plus this way when I flush with distilled I can dilute the red coolant by less accordingly, whereas SLL coolant is pre-diluted. Just seemed better all around to stick with what came in the car and what the manual recommends.
5.0 out of 5 stars Used on my 2003 Lexus RX300
This is the way to go instead of the 50/50 stuff.Buy this and a 2 dollar gallon of distilled water and make your own. Saved about thirty dollars doing this.
*Rare* Toyota Red un-diluted Antifreeze Coolant
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Product is exactly as described. This is the Toyota Long Life “red” that must be diluted with deionized/distilled water prior to use (unlike the Toyota Extra Long Life “pink” that comes pre-diluted).Shipping was also much faster than expected and arrived 4 days before the estimated date.
