I am very disappointed in the 2023 order of Calandre. It does not have the odor of the classic fragrance. The order I received in 2020 was true to form. It makes me afraid to place another order for Calandre.

I remember this fragrance like spring in an orange grove. It had a light citrus scent with just a hint of floral. I couldn't wait to have it again! Scent is one of the strongest memory senses. Well...I can't believe how awful it is now! Totally skunky musk with more than a hint of old cigar smoke. I don't remember any musk when I wore it in the mid 1970's. After I received it I did some research on how to know when it was manufactured and found mine was made in September of 2021 which is recent so can't blame it on being old. I won't be wearing it. I'm really disappointed. And it's not returnable!

I purchased because I used to use this years ago. I'm not sure but it seems the scent has either changed or has grown old...I likely won't buy again.

Calandre by Paco Rabanne is a nice unusual fragrance. I can tell when a woman is wearing typical popular fragrances as they all smell very cheap to me. I like a fragrance with different notes depending on my mood and these cost a little more than the awful ordinary ones. The fragrance settles down to nice subtle smell. I have read reviews that say this is an old person’s fragrance but I strongly disagree. Young women, to me, seem to gyrate toward the strong fragrances one would find the pages of women’s magazines. This is not one of those and I think takes an experienced sensibility to appreciate. I have never purchased this fragrance anywhere else so I cannot compare it to one from a different store but I am very pleased with this purchase.

El aroma de este perfume me trae hermosos recuerdos, fue el primer perfume que mi esposo me regaló cuando éramos novios, lo ví a súper excelente precio y lo compré, huele igual que antes y totalmente original el número del Bacht de la caja coincide con la botella, llegó en perfectas condiciones tiempo y forma, solo una sugerencia, la protección del empaquetado es demasiado frágil y siendo una botella de vidrio con líquido se puede romper muy fácil, ya me ha pasado y he obtenido el reembolso que se evitarían si fuera empacado adecuadamente, igual gracias Bolo, recomendado 💯

I bought this lovely perfume Calandre through Capetonian. Used it for years but it became unavailable until a couple of years ago. Delighted to see it for sale and received it promptly and at a good price. Delighted !! Thank you Capetonian. I had a bad experience with another seller with this same perfume so stick with Capetonian.
