They were very dark and had stains on on the pans and the lids. It took applying the cleaner and using a sponge several times, but they look just about new with the exception of the bumps from being so old. They are very old. She had them for years.This stuff made a 20 year pot sparkle. The best part was how quick. I had just washed the pot and while it was wet, I sprinkled a little on it and rubbed around with wet sponge. Rinsed it off and dried it with a dish towel anpictures.I don't have any before pictures. I really wasn't expecting this. I am tickled to death to have bought this stuff. Its so easy. If I had used a toothbrush the letters on the bottom would probably be perfect.I will keep using this stuff.

I don’t normally write reviews but BKF is an amazing product. I wish I had taken before and after pictures of my new Stainless Steele cookware. I was so discouraged after using them and seeing the cooked on stains on that shiny surface thinking I’ll never get them to look like they did when I bought them. I was wrong. After using BKF they look even better than they did new. I’m so pleased with the results. Thank you BKF’s for the great product and for a product that actually does what they said would happen. I’m I life customer!!!❤️❤️❤️

Excellent product. I’ve heard about Bar Keepers Friend for a long time but never tried it. Now I am very sad that I didn’t. The stainless steel pots are gleaming and it works great on stainless steel sink. Will be ordering more.

Amazing! I was soaking something in my stainless sink with Lysol toilet cleaner to remove calcium deposits, which works exceptionally well, however it ruined my sink and permanently stained my sink. I tried everything. This worked like a charm! I am thrilled. I thought all I could do is get a new sink. We'll it looks new! Beyond happy.

Wow! Had some tough grease staining on some pans and saw many recommendations for BKF. Did not disappoint! I couldn’t believe how much it got off and how shiny it looks after. Stains not100% gone yet but I’ll go back for another round soon and hopefully it’ll be good as new.

This made my stainless steel pan look brand new again. I made a paste with water and rubbed it in the bottom of the pan then I put it in the dishwasher to finish & it came out like brand new! Love it!

A Must-Have for Maintaining Your Stainless Steel Pans
A few months ago, I bought several stainless steel pans that were not entry-level and came at a fairly high price. After only two or three uses of one of these pans, I made a mistake and ended up with a large cooking oil stain—about half of the cooking surface was affected. I was really upset with myself and tried several tricks I found online to clean the pan (vinegar, baking soda, lemon juice, etc.). None of these so-called "tricks" restored my nearly new pan to its original state. In fact, all of those 'tricks' had absolutely no impact on the oil stain I was dealing with.I was skeptical when I saw that this product might help, as I expected it would be just as ineffective as the home remedies I had already tried multiple times. But I was completely wrong—and now I regret not having bought this miracle product sooner.As instructed on the packaging, I made a sort of paste with water and a bit of the powder, waited about a minute, and then managed to completely remove the impossible stain using a Scrub Daddy sponge. The pan now looks as beautiful as the day I bought it.In short, I’m extremely impressed and honestly consider this product to be miraculous. Anyone who owns high-quality stainless steel cookware and wants to keep it looking new should absolutely have this on hand.
