I did however think I was buying just 1 tin, and getting 12 in the mail was a shocker. Happy to get so many for so little money, but now I have to figure out what to do with 11 extra tins.

We bought this set of paints as part of a Christmas present for our Grand Daughter. The tin is exactly how I remember it when we bought Reeves paint for our sons when they were young and the quality and brightness of this nice basic set is as good as ever. It contains a good range of colours and is very suitable for children to use including for craft work.

I thought these were the Reeves so don't be fooled by the photo of Reeves paints. The quality is very chalky and thin. They would be ok for kids or maybe a mixed media sketchbookbut they are not the quality of Reeves tablet watercolors which I think maybe are not are not made anymore!

Buy a high quality brush and you are good to go with an excellent paint set. The paint is bright and covers well. I think the sets are shipped from England so be prepared to wait a week or so on delivery. Worth the wait!

I wasn't expecting 12 sets - I think the person who received 12 sets was a mistake! There are 12 "colors" but they don't have much pigment at all. Worse than a set I paid $5.99 for a few months ago. Try another brand. These are frustrating for an adult. Can't see that a child would like them either.

These are a fine set of water colors, especially for elementary art students. But note that the description indicates a brush is included. I've received two now and neither had a brush. Now it's not really worth taking the time to get a replacement a second time.

These watercolors are fine, however the reason I am giving such a low star rating is because I thought I was purchasing a set of 12 separate tin sets (which I needed to teach an art class). Not 1 individual tin! Extremely misleading and disappointing!!!
