The 20 lbs is heavy but solid and grabs the bottom of lake easily. My boat does not move, even in 40 mph winds.

I have a ‘23 Ski/bow rider boat. I bought this anchor for use in a rock bottom at bull shoals Arkansas. I do use 20’ of chain on as well. Several times I set anchor and had a boat tie up on either side of me and the anchor held all three and reset itself when the wind shifted. I wouldn’t recommend what I did in a storm, but for a breezy day out on the water it did an excellent job.

Needed a bigger anchor to hold our 24ft pontoon. Works great and held our boat in place. Best price I've found for this size. Not too heavy to pull out.

Many guides called for a 15-18 lb anchor for my boat so I went ahead and sized up to a 20lb and I’m happy I did. At 5ft or 30ft of water it keeps up still without any worry of the anchor coming loose.

Holds the boat in place
Solidly Built, Holds a 14ft tin boat in rough water no problem.

I hardly miss using the 10lb anchor after buying this one. My boat will stay in the same spot no problem in windy weather, where as in the same conditions, it would be impossible for my 10lb anchor to hold!

Arrived broken and useless. will cost me more to return than I paid.
As you can see from the photos, it arrived with the top connection for the rope/chain completely broken off. And the tip was not in the box, which suggests it was sent this way. A portion of the vinyl coating was also chipped off and the the metal was already rusting. Was it used? I paid $65 cdn and it will cost me at least $70 to return it, so I now have a useless piece of metal. Not impressed.Update # 1. There will be an update #2 when I get the replacement anchor directly from Seasense. The customer service is fantastic. They have already sent me a new one. From other reviews I know I am not the only one that has received it in this condition. I believe the issue is the way Bolo packages it for shipping. Completely inadequate for the product.Update #2 Replacement arrived today. This one looks great, and vinyl coating is intact. Looks like a quality product, and confirms the original shipping was the problem. Seasense customer service is outstanding.
