5.0 out of 5 stars Great shears
I bought these shears to cut different sizes of popsicle sticks. They cut with ease. I'm happy they do exactly what I bought them for. I like that they have a lock on them. I'm sure they would cut lots of different things. Overall, I am very pleased with these shears.
5.0 out of 5 stars Best at cutting plastic/lexan
I bought about 5 different shears from dual action tin snips to poultry bone shears and this Titan Shears beat them all. I tested for amount of force needed to cut, length of cut (speed), balanced on the hands, sharpness, and quality of cut. This uses the same or less force when compared to dual action tin snips and serrated shears. Length of cut is around 1.75" which is long enough to cut without doing to much strokes, length being too long, and handle from opening too large. Blade says it is serrated but it is only serrated for thicker material like poultry, so cutting 1mm thick plastic will not make use of the serration, but that did not matter, the Titan shears cuts with ease. Since i dont use the serration and with the joint held in with a nylon nut(which prevents it from backing out), the cut quality is clean without any frayed edges. The Titan shears only weights 0.28lbs and is well balanced. The tin snips that weight the same amount was front heavy which made the snips feel award. The locking mechanism worked well and is very intuitive and ergonomic. My only worry is that the handles might break after lots of uses. These shears can be used all day with ease.
5.0 out of 5 stars Very sharp
I used these to cut 1/16" plastic. They did a great job!
4.0 out of 5 stars Buy a few pair to have them throughout your house/auto
These things cut just about anything. I had a pair in my desk and I went out and ordered a few more pair for the auto and the garage. They are excellent and well constructed.
5.0 out of 5 stars Still sharp after 6 months use.
I have been using these to cut the ends off, cut angles and different lengths of popsicle sticks. I am making a 4' long x 1 1/2 ' wide by 1' high Noah's Arc for my church. I am 1/3 done and have used over 3,000 popsicle sticks so far and these snips are still like the day I received the. Clean cuts with no tearing or splitting and that's pretty good for the popsicle sticks I purchased from Jo Ann fabric that can vary in thickness. Ordered an extra pair 2 months ago for a backup, but they are still in the package unopened. They will even still cut paper.
5.0 out of 5 stars Shockingly Easy to Use
First try using these has me sold. I cut through packaging twist ties like they were string. Light weight, easy to hold. Locking mechanism is easy to operate. Impressed.

Work great day cutting open most packages and hard plastic. Very handy to have.
5.0 out of 5 stars Extremely Handy
Solid pair of snips. I use them almost daily, and these are especially efficient at cutting optical fiber. These also are easy to tighten, or untighten, thanks to the bolt and nut.
