I purchased this after a recommendation from my sister when I began tanning. Of course, being as pale as I was when I started, I burnt quite a bit. Let me just say this, I now swear by Hempz lotion! It sucked the heat out of my burns faster than any aloe vera that I have ever used. My burns were literally gone in a matter of a day and I was able to continue tanning. The smell is this is simply amazing! I use this lotion once in the morning, once after I tan and usually right before I go to sleep as well. I've only been using this for about a week now and my skin is velvety smooth, it feels incredible. I find myself just tickling my side at times because my skin is so incredibly soft that I love feeling it. I don't think I'll ever use another lotion again. There is no heavy, oily feel to it at all. A very lightweight, softening lotion with a very soft smell as well; nothing too overwhelming. I also purchased the Hempz Triple Moisture and I love that just as much! There aren't enough words in this world to describe how much I love this lotion, honestly, there isn't. I'll never use anything else, let's just put it that way. I'm now a Hempz user for life!As far as using it as an after tan lotion, it's perfect for that as well. Keeps my tan moist and doesn't let it dry out at all. Sets it very nicely and holds it perfectly! Those over priced after tan lotions sold at salons have nothing on Hempz. Nothing at all. This lotion is an all in one perfection in a bottle. Good on sunburns, good for after tan lotion and perfect for an everyday lotion! Will definitely be purchasing this again. And again, and again!

I’m gonna share a little secret but need to give some background first, the salon where I get my nails does uses Hempz Original lotion and it’s really nice, smells great and great feeling on my skin. Now for the secret, I live in the South and mosquitoes are awful here and for some reason my front porch was a luxury vacation spot for them and I was getting attacked whenever I went outside. I had just gotten back from getting my nails done when I noticed I had a delivery and dreaded retrieving my box due to the mosquitoes so imagine my surprise when I went to my front porch and NOT a single bite! They were buzzing around me and you could see them just ‘begging’ to find a spot to bite me but nope not a one!I’ve shared this information with my nail tech and he tried it and had the same thing happen. He said others were around him swatting them and they left him alone and again not a single bite!So if you live in a place where mosquitoes are a problem give this lotion a try! I do think you’ll be pleasantly surprised and fyi it doesn’t take much to keep them away. I’ve also only tried this with the original formula so I can’t speak to the other scents but the original one mosquitoes do not like and will leave you alone.Good luck!

Been using this for awhile so that I could put a proper review. I bought this because my cuticles are really dry and crack. It works ok but not any better than a much cheaper handcream in my opinion. Will not by again,
