I used it for about an hour the first night it came. It is so easy to use and does such a good job. The manufacturer offers a one year replacement warranty, so if you are worried that it might break, there is your security. I have found it to be very solid and does not have a lot of flex and provides amazing effective at pinpointing the knots and massaging them. I shouldn’t have waited so long to get this. Your back and shoulders will thank you! It also does a great job on so many other muscles.

Great quality! Assembles easily & has no slop or wiggle at the joint. It makes quick work of knots & has been great for tight back muscles.

I used to try and guide my husband on how to massage the knots out of my trapezius muscles because they get wickedly right and hurt really badly. Now I can easily massage the pain away myself and get that sweet sweet pain relief. I got introduced to a device similar at the Airrosti I went to but theirs was WAY more expensive. This is a great price for basically the same tool. It's light weight and good quality. Only major complaint I have is I'm a plus size lady and so this is a BIT snug around some of my curves

I love this. My doctor recommended it for my shoulder tension, but I have used it all over where I am sore. I paid more for this USA made product and it was worth it. Very sturdy and feels well made. It has easy designated places to hold and has really helped with the pain in my trapezoids. Highly recommend that if you are looking at one of these, this is definitely the one to get

Crazy how well this thing works!You can give yourself just the right amount of pressure exactly where you need it for the length of time you need. I always hurt on my trapezius muscles and upper back/neck. I have significant tightness due to occipital neuralgia and I get terrible migraines from it. This simple device has been a life saver in being able to loosen tense muscles. Especially if you live alone and have no one to help you with those hard to reach places on the back.Whoever invented this is a genius.

I own many massage tools as you could possibly imagine: different tiger rollers, foam rollers with various shapes, colors, density, peanut balls, Graston massage tools, etc. you name it, I have it.This tool by far is the most versatile, light and effective massage tool I have ever encountered. It has the capability to address those annoying knots on the back of your calf, thigh, shoulder blade that are very hard to access to. Due to its weight and shape you can do lots of work just when lying down. Massaging IT band is just a breeze with this, the same way going over large quad, hamstring muscles or smaller arm muscles.Wonderful design. I wish I knew about this much earlier.

Was really excited to get this item and hoping to experience relief but this tool had some flaws. Maybe it works for others and it's just me but one the primary trigger point knob is just too pointy. The knobs numbered 1 and 2, which are what I would be using most. It's simply too damn pointy and hurts more than not. I've simultaneously bought another brand hoping to keep as a secondary to use and waited for this one expecting higher quality because it's made in the U.S.The other brand that I included pictures of, had knobs that were round which I found to be far more comfortable rather than painful. Again, maybe I'm not using this correctly but that pointy design just doesn't work for me.Both the blue(made in U.S.) and the black(made in China) felt like similar quality, I mean as should be if the imitation one also uses fiberglass/plastic composition. The black one has a big and smaller "hook" which I found offered more options in terms of usage. The handle designs looks all weird but strangely effective in terms of giving one grip and leverage. On both the blue and black products there are the knobs for massaging neck and lower back. I honestly don't know how to best use the ones for the neck OR the ones for lower back. Those neck knobs are all fixed distances which didn't feel like they were able to hit the right spot(both blue and black.)The lower back knobs, like wise, are fixed and I don't feel it hits the right spots either. The black one is even worse with the mutli-knob design. None of those knobs hits anywhere comfortable or for relief.I've bought the accessory product for neck massage and included pictures. Those seems like dense rubber of some sort with a little give which does feel comfortable when used on your neck. It's screwed in via plastic as seen in the pictures. You can adjust the distances of the two "golf balls." They should've incorporated this design into the trigger point massager cane instead of those hard stubby knobs. The accessory neck massager feels mostly plastic, or whatever material it's made of. Not sure how durable it is over time as stress is put on the material but if used with moderate force it shouldn't break. I don't see myself putting so much clamping force on my neck even with this being plastic, to the point of breakage.The stick is rather hard to take apart once attached but not so if you have two people to provide leverage while pushing down the locking mechanism with a proper too of some sort, just don't do it carelessly as I can see people causing self harm in the process.I'll be returning the blue one while keeping the black one from another seller, primarily due to the knob being pointy vs round. I prefer the round type. Would gladly buy American but these damn Chinese imitation products are so abundant and competitive with their design that they kick out multiple variations where some designs are actually better.Make another trigger point massager with rounded ends with the golf ball screw in design with some solid material instead of plastic that might break in the long run and I'll definitely be throwing my money for that new version!

Having had a bad back for numerous years now,I am at the end of my tether of trying to find products that will either help or cure.Not one has been successful....I've had Flexi bak, I've had a tennis ball plastic thing, I've had various heat belts that heat using magnets,I have a electric massager with heated balls no less,I have a posture corrector.I've always been put off this because of the £30 asking price and don't really see the point of cheaper imitations. Anyway,I got a gift card for Xmas rollso I took the plunge.Glad I did. Since I've used it ,I'm not saying I'm cured but my back feels so much better. Don't even know if I'm using it correctly.(I'm kinda sticking the balls in where I get pain,kneading the area for around 10 secs ,then releasing and apparently a surge of blood whooshes straight to the area,and aids the healing process. It sounds so simple and maybe it is because as I said previously,my back feels great. If you're unsure .....like I was.....take a punt. May be the best thing you do

A must have tool for tension release.
I normally don't give reviews until I have had a chance to use the product for at least 6 months however, in this instance there is no reason to wait. The Back Buddy has been a godsend.I workout at least 4-5 times a week with weights and cardio classes. Aches and pains come with the territory. With this tool I can finally reach those hard to target places.I've also had carpal tunnel surgery on both hands and recently trigger finger release so I just don't have the finger strength to really work on my plantar fasciitis.With the back buddy I can target the heel of my feet without tiring my hands.Also great for targeting my glutes after a hard leg session.The Back Buddy comes with a chart but there is so much more you can do with it.I decided to go with the original back buddy for reliability in design and guarantee. Some of the knock offs had poor reviews for sharpness on edges. I didn't think it was worth the savings of £10.My back buddy does have a visible mould seam but it is smooth. Anyway it works better through thin clothing as you can glide it. I don't think it's as effective on bare skin.Give yourself some relief.
