Meguiar products for cleaning, conditioning, polishing, and waxing automobiles and trucks are generally top-quality at the best prices. I have used this vinyl/rubber conditioner and cleaner for many years, always with very good results.

I detail several cars a year and have tried every product I could get my hands on for interior detailing. Meguiars M40 is by far the best product I've found for cleaning and protecting dashboards, hard plastics, rubber door seals and plastic interior panels. I also use it for some of the exterior black rubber trim and on my pickup Tonneau cover. In a pinch it even works on tires.What I like about it is it cleans and protects in one easy application and leaves a pleasant matte finish, much like when the car was new. The finish lasts a long time and protects from sun fade and UV degradation. I've heard that it works to remove wax haze from exterior trim but I haven't tried it for that yet. I don't care for glossy, shiny automotive interiors and much prefer a matte look. The product has a pleasant scent that doesn't linger for long. I usually apply it with a microfiber cloth. It just takes a simple spray and wipe and you're done. Make sure to not over spray on your glass or you'll have to clean off the haze. All in all a very good product that I keep in stock and recommend to my friends.

I have used this product for many years now and have tried many cleaners, color "vitalizers" and conditioners over the years before finding this stuff, but this one takes the cake. No, it takes the entire cake shop! Use it for vinyl, rubber, leather, floor mats, vehicle paint, oil removal inside the engine, carpet cleaning inside your home, etc. It does it all!When applied to vehicle interiors, it goes on easily and wipes off easily. I recommend applying it with a microfiber cloth, allowing it to penetrate and then (after about 2 to 5 minutes) wiping it off with a clean microfiber cloth. This restores the color depth of the material and makes it look like showroom - not shiny/oliy! I also use it on vehicle engine compartments. It reconditions and protects rubber hoses, plastic parts, cables and connectors. With the engine warm (NOT hot!!) after a good 15 minute soak, and possibly an intermediate reapplication of #40, I gently rinse the engine compartment off (DO NOT use high water pressure and DO NOT spray directly on electrical connectors, but ABOVE ALL make sure that the run-off is appropriately collected as it contains mineral oils that harm the environment!!). With a damp mircofiber cloth I then wipe everything down, leaving the hood up for the remaining water to evaporate. Be amazed!Another example: I restored beige floor mats out of a Porsche Cayenne to factory new that were completely soiled with dirt, grime and on top with engine oil. First liberally applied #40, allowed it to soak for 10 minutes, then washed the floor mats with hair shampoo and finished with hair conditioner. The owner of the car was speechless!

I bought a very cheap Tonneau cover for my truck a few years ago. I didn't expect it to last, so I haven't done much to maintain its appearance. I didn't do much to it other than hose it off occasionally when I washed the truck. It has never really been properly cleaned, and it spends its life outside being exposed to everything.It was starting to look pretty grungy, but it has held up a lot better than I expected it to. So I decided to try this stuff and see if it could be brought back to life. I was pleasantly surprised by the results.I like that it cleans and preserves in one step. Just spray a bit in the middle and then take a paper towel and work from there out to the edges so you don't have to worry about over-spray. Doing it that way makes it pretty easy to keep it just on the tonneau cover. The whole thing took maybe five minutes to do, and it got all the dirt off and left a very light, fairly low-gloss finish behind. It looks a LOT better than it did. The result looks normal, not that weird, overly shiny Armor-All look.We'll see how long it lasts exposed to the outside elements, but reapplying it is not hard to do.

Meguiar's rubber conditioner has truly worked like magic on my sun-faded floor mats. My cleaning routine involves first rinsing the mats, followed by a spray of Dawn soap, another rinse, and then a gentle shake to rid them of excess water, all while leaving behind those shimmering water beads. The pièce de résistance is the application of Meguiar's rubber conditioner, which I let sit for a mere 5 minutes before gently wiping away the excess. The transformation is astonishing, as the mats are rejuvenated to their former glory, looking refreshed and vibrant. I tried this on 3-year old floor mats with the tall sides (trays, basically). While it did rejuvenate the appearance somewhat, it made the surface very slippery. How slippery? Getting into the car now has to be done more carefully to avoid slipping on the way in. Any items placed on the passenger side floor mat (e.g. after a quick shopping trip) gentle turns result in those items sliding from side to side instead of staying in place as they did before using this product.This may be a better product for vinyl and rubber that doesn't have any foot or package contact. but these results don't work for me with floor mats. YMMV

outside of Car: When applied looks good, the smallest shower and washes of leaving marks on your paint work as chemical runs down with rain.would not recommend.
