It is lightweight, almost full coverage, slightly sheer. It can be buildable without being heavy. It feels clean. As it is not a heavy oil-based product, it doesn’t want to get wet or sweaty. It will melt in the rain or if you perspire, but it can be dabbed and still look nice if you’re out clubbing or dining outdoors, etc. It cleans off easily, using regular cleansing products. No need for special makeup removers.

Using this product provides a sense of confidence on all fronts:Its list of ingredients is not only natural, but contains moisturizing shea butter, anti-aging primrose oil,, cooling aloe juice, and avocado seed extract. It is not only a cosmetic; it has proven to be a sensational skincare product.The coverage is light but effective. I feel confident knowing that it covers redness and blemishes, but leaves a very natural-looking, glowing finish. I simply add an extra layer for a full coverage look, which still manages to appear natural!Since I started using Gabriel Cosmetics, I have received innumerable compliments on my skin. People can't even tell that I'm wearing makeup - they simply want to know my skincare regimen, and how I keep my skin looking so healthy and bright.I have bought this foundation multiple times, and will continue to rock it for the foreseeable future!

I've been using Gabriel products for years, & this foundation is essential for any makeup look. I love the versatility of it - can do a light layer over moisturizer/sunscreen/primer for a natural look / dewy glow etc , or apply a bit more (if going full glam or a night out look I will set with powder) and get complete coverage without looking "caked" ... The ingredients are far superior and it shows. I am so happy to have a foundation that is moisturizing, great texture, and also can reliably endure a long day or night without wearing off. 11/10 recommend

I love Gabriel foundation! It is perfect for super sensative dry skin and blends beautifully with your own skin tone. It has very good coverage for any flaws. I blend it in with my fingers and my favorite moisturizer. You may need to blend it well with a moisturizer so it doesn't go on too thick. But once you get use to this it will go on beautifully. I perfer to use alittle extra virgin coconut oil, which is great for my highly sensative skin. The foundation looks very natural and smooth. It also has a soft glow and feels light weight. A tiny amount goes a long way, a bottle will last a long time. I love the Natural Beige color. The soft Beige is alittle too light ivory for me. I'm fair tone with a light tan most of the year, the Natural Beige is perfect for me. The color is so beautiful, very natural looking. Gabriel thank you for making such a high quality natural foundation! The Wholefoods stores sells Gabriel but I'm very happy I can order it from Bolo since the Wholefoods store is not in my area. The only con if there is one, they don't put a spatula in the new bottles. I learn to get around this by useing a Q-tip. It would be better to make a pump or easier way to get the foundation out.Update: I recently tried the Gabriel lip liner and it is great too, stays on all day and won't smear! I'm still loving the foundation and had so many compliments on how pretty my skin looks!
1.0 out of 5 stars Very Oily - Had To Remove Within 15 Minutes Of Application
I visited a local store that carries both Gabriel and Zuzu foundations. I had never tried these foundations before. They didn't have my shade in either one in stock, but I tried a little of each on separate wrists. I could tell the Gabriel foundation was oily, but after an hour or so it seemed less so. The Zuzu foundation wasn't oily at all, but I worried that on my face it would be too dry and would look flaky. I decided to order both foundations. I got the Gabriel foundation here on Bolo, and the Zuzu from Gabriel's website. I tried the Gabriel foundation first. I used it without a primer, but did have a moisturizer on (Clinique Gel 100 hour moisturizer). It felt like I had slathered my face in olive oil. It was irritating and after just 15 minutes I had to remove it as I couldn't stand it. All that said, the shade was what I expected and was perfect for me, so it's a shame it didn't work for me. My sister uses Gabriel foundation and loves it, so I gave it to her. It looks very natural on her - and doesn't look oily at all. I've never seen it settle in her fine lines. It's always looked good on her. Next I tried the Zuzu foundation, and used a primer this time. It worked much better for me. It didn't settle in lines or creases, and though it contains no oil it didn't look flaky on my skin. It looked very natural. Not too matte, not too dewy. The Zuzu foundation didn't irritate my eyes or skin at all. The Gabriel foundation, though I didn't like the feel of it on my skin, didn't irritate my eyes either. If you are used to wearing a foundation with oil in it, you might like the Gabriel one. If not, you might like the Zuzu foundation better. I think Zuzu gives a little better coverage than Gabriel, but both are pretty sheer. I use two coats of Zuzu over my cheeks because they're red. It fades it out enough and I use blush anyway so it works ok for me. I wore the Zuzu all day to a party, got many compliments on how beautiful I looked, and forgot I was even wearing it by the end of the day. It held up very well. I didn't see any flakes, settlement, beads of color, or areas where it rubbed off. I can only assume, based on seeing my sister in the Gabriel foundation, that it would hold up as well. I think both foundations are good, and the one that works for you will depend on your tolerance to the oil.

Healthy Choice for our Skin
I love Gabriel products because no animal was killed in the making of them nor were the products tested on animals. I am so grateful that no animal suffered for me. The Foundation is silky smooth and covers up blemishes quite well. In addition, it gives my skin a healthy glow. Thanks Gabriel!

I've used this product for years. I like the fact it's organic and has sunscreen. Does not give a lot of coverage but evens out skin tone. MoreExpensive now.
Absolutely horrible. DO NOT waste your money!
Absolutely horrible product! The color in the bottle was a nice warm to neutral nude. As soon as I put the product on my face it immediately oxidized leaving my whole face orange. I tried to spread the product using my hands, a beauty blender and a brush and it wasn't spreading. It became sticky the moment I put it on my face and the application was patchy. There was no coverage whatsoever, the product smelled absolutely disgusting and for the hefty price tag- this was one of the worst makeup purchases I have ever made. I will be returning asap. There are many very reputable and great mineral/organic brands out there, that are far superior to this. NEVER AGAIN. DO NOT waste your money and buy this.
