Bought this due to high phosphate in tank. A bag of this last 4 + days. Then you change it out to keep it going. This reduced my phophate levels drastically

First The product works well, I have used this product for over 3 years, at one point my Phosphates was out of control, now that I've have started using phosguard it keep my phosphate level at bay, I change the Media ever 4 week in my reactor, my set up is a 220 gallon reef tank and it works really well

I’ve been struggling. Despite RO water and new salt, couldn’t get rid of the brown algae in my sand. Changed this phos guard weekly and in about 2-3 weeks, sand is clean! Somehow I had silicates!

After reading all the negative reviews online about the Phosguard causing problem by leaching Aluminum into the reef tanks, I was very hesitant to use it. I have leathers, frogspawns, torches, zoas, and mushrooms in my tank. Had some hairline algae growing from a live rock that I had placed in the tank. The API phosphate test kit said my phosphate was zero, but since the hairline algae was present I knew the test kit just couldn't measure the phosphate that low. I placed the Phosguard in a bag with the RECOMMEND amount for a 30 gallon tank. So far I can tell that the nuisance algae is a lot less and it's only been 3 days. I am pretty sure the people having issues with this product are using the wrong dosage and adding too much. This stuff works so well at dropping the phosphate that you can shock the coral if the phosphate level changes to quickly. I have also noticed that the corals are doing better now too by opening up even more and the torches are extending even further.

This works so well for our salt water aquarium. We have corals so we need to keep the phosphates down and this works really well and since it isn't flakey it can be used in media holders better than other types of phosphate reducing media. It is nice to not have a media reactor, and it works especially well for a small aquarium (25 gal). One tip I have is to rinse it really well, it will cloud up the water if you don't do a really thorough rinse up front.

These are before and after photos of how well this product works after 30 days.My 200 is showing signs of overstocking as my little fish are growing up. Phosphates were through the roof no matter what I tried. This product helped bring them down to zero, so I just reduced the amount I use until I get it to a minimum amount.I’ve only used in a saltwater tank, so I’m not sure how efficient it is in fresh tanks. This and adding additional mechanical filtration does the trick!!

I've been a marine aquarist for about 13 years and this is great stuff. If you need something to quickly absorb phosphates, this will do it. I like to keep a small bag of this in the sump for a little extra cleaning power. It does not cause anything to plummet and your ecosystem will not crash.

It's nice because you can just throw a bag of it in your sump/return area. It works slowly but is pretty weak in removing phosphates and makes the water cloudy no matter how well I rinse. I have to use double the amount indicated to lower my phosphates. The media is full after 4 days and needs discarded. I will be moving to a reactor and gfo for something with a little more muscle and longevity.

トットパーフェクトフィルターミニの濾材スペースにて排水ネットに入れて使用。大体三ヶ月交換で使用していますが、30×30×40の水槽で一日七時間グラッシーレディオの強光下でも苔は出にくいです。換水頻度は週一で三分の一ほどとなります。外国からの配送で若干日数はかかりましたがちゃんと届きましたし、大容量のこちらは値段もお得でかなりいい商品だと思います。
