Pop Up Pirate! promises hours of amusement. After all, who doesn't like to see a pirate get shot out of a barrel? The game is simple. The unlucky pirate is pushed into the top of a brown plastic barrel, readying the spring mechanism for his eventual launch. Players then take turns pushing colorful plastic swords into holes on the side of the barrel, one by one until finally someone releases the spring and sends the poor little pirate on his way. Whoever makes the pirate pop loses, until the next round at any rate. The game includes a blue plastic base, the brown barrel (the sort that pirates would use for grog), and 24 plastic swords--six each of yellow, red, green, and blue. There's also lots of stickers of birds, smiling sharks, and even an ogling octopus, although they don't stay stuck very well. The pirate himself has a big black mustache and wears an eye patch and a purple plastic scarf over his head. Luckily, he doesn't seem to mind getting jounced around so much, since he also has a gigantic, if somewhat cautious, grin. --David Morel

We got it for my youngest birthday because she absolutely loves Bluey and when she saw Bluey and her family playing this game in an episode she wanted to play it, it took us a bit to find it because well there's different versions of it and we were hunting for one closest to one Bluey had and we wanted to wait until her birthday too. It's easy set up and easy to follow directions on how to play too. That kids (Ages 4 and up like the box says) can set it up by themselves. (Possibly even a 3 y/o could set it up too depending on the 3 y/o. Just my thought.)We did notice when putting some of the crocodile type "teeth" in the bottom part it's a bit of a struggle, but I'm sure in time it'll loosen up especially with how often it's played. All in all I give this game a 10 out of 10 for a great family fun game. Plus no Batteries needed!

This keeps me and the kids entertained. I always loved super Mario and now my kids do too! Great design and colors to keep the kids engaged. Easy to store when finished for an easy cleanup. Perfect if you have kids and parents get a little nostalgia too!

Defective swords

Sumamente divertido sobretodo si lo juegas con compás y se ponen retos cuando pierden, se nota la calidad del producto, cada que juegas cambia de hoyo, es mas grande de lo que esperaba, inicialmente se me hacia un poco caro pero una vez que lo tienes se nota que vale cada centavo por lo bien que está hecho y lo bonito que es, sinceramente lo compre porque lo vi en un episodio de larva y turba y es igual de divertido que en ese video
